We have been missing this place! The Great Indian Restaurant is our fav place to dine in the QC. Not only is the food excellent, but the table service is always great as well. Whether you know this cuisine or not, you can find your way around the menu because it's grouped into sections and there are good descriptions, plus... More

The service was fast and our water was kept full. We had a lamb appetizer that was wonderful, my partner had goat and loved it food and friendliness was A+

I've tried a number of Indian places in the US and abroad and this one measures up. I had the lamb vindaloo and asked for it hot. I asked for more heat and they gladly obliged. I would have liked I hotter, but the flavor was good and they are cautious. While eating I noticed that most of the patrons... More

Very Good Indian in Moline. Great meat Samosas. Muligatawny soup is excellent. All main dishes made to order to your spice level. Place is a little run down but the food makes up for lack of atmosphere! Enjoy!

This is the best Indian restaurant in Quad Cities. The food is good and spicy. I liked it. The service is really slow. The food is worth the wait. I would recommend this restaurant, if someone wants to try authentic Indian food.

Having never had indian food, we went in and had some sampler plates. They offered mild or hot and we went safe. Everything was good and fresh. Went back on a Sunday for a buffet and everything we tried was good. It's in our regular rotation now.

Took my family for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Ordered some dishes including tandoori chicken which was supposed to be a whole chicken as printed on the menu. The waiter brought out only drumsticks and would not apologize nor take it back. He even charged for the item. The place is shabby and run down. Prices are not too bad.... More

Friends from all over tell me Great Indian is one of the best Indian restaurants anywhere. While still friendly, the staff always seems surprised to see me there. I don't think they like having to make suggestions or explain things, they always seem whiling and enjoy a good laugh on me (if you can't laugh at yourself, you are just... More

So the place looks like an old taco bell, but the food is great. Several types of naan from sweet to savory.
