Long gone.It closed. Last Feb. A true tradition on the hill in Moline . Ill. One of the best spots to meet friends for a drink and a bite to eat in town.

Best Reubens, cole slaw... everything I've ever had here was great! Unique food, cozy atmosphere.. too bad they closed. Hopefully someone will re-open with same great recipes! Miss those humongous reubens!!

Current owners have closed the doors as of February, 2014. All of us locals are hoping someone steps up and reopens this landmark restaurant!

I have had ruebens all over the country and in Germany. This was the best by far. Order the raisin bread for an othentic sandwich. Great food, service, and huge portions.

We thought that this would be a great place to eat for something different. The reviews were good, but we were disappointed. My husband was looking forward to having a beer on tap and I wanted to try the 1919 draft root beer. We couldn't have either. They could not serve anything on tap and evidently haven't been able to... More

BVI is a great neighborhood pub and restaurant. It is frequently very crowded at meal time, but they are open 10:00a - 10:00p. When busy, they can be slow dining in. We regularly do take out from the tavern (there is a drive-thru site nearby, but they do not offer a full menu) and our food is ready in 10-15... More

This is a great old restaurant! You know how good a grilled ham and Swiss cheese sandwich is? The Belgian Village Inn has perfected it, serving it on raisin bread and calling it a Vanderaisin. It is the best sandwich I have ever eaten, perfect in every way, the Swiss cheese just the right sharpness, the raisin bread adding the... More

Excellent service and delicious draft rootbeer. Bring a friend to share the ham-and-corned beef Reuben built on heroically large and delicious bread. We didn't have room for bread pudding and will have to return (ah shucks).

My husband and I are always on the hunt for the best reuben sandwich in the midwest and the Vandereuben is in the top three! It's a nice little neighborhood restaurant to have a quick lunch at, Our waitress was friendly and made some funny small talk about my husband not being able to polish off his gigantic sandwich. Speaking... More

Rootbeer on tap. Have a float. (2nd best reuben I ever ate! LOL). A nice pre concert stop to avoid bridge traffic to the I Wireless.
