Down the Street from Danny's

Ended up here when Danny's was closed. The food and staff are friendly and great. Sauce was great and delicious. Wife liked the eggplant parmesan.

Went here last weekend at 6;00 pm. Food and service were horrible. Server messed up drinks twice, forgot a soup, later forgot a side of pasta. He never once checked up on our table of 4. Clams were cold, Chicken over salted and Braciola disappointing. Should've went to Olive Garden.

Went here with my family for the 1st time. Nice clean restaurant/bar. Dining room looks updated, nice ambiance. Chicken parm was very good, along with bruschetta and stuffed artichoke. Braciola was ok, my moms is still the best I've had. Overall a good place, I would go again. Try it.

Abruzzo's is hidden a couple blocks off of North Avenue in sleepy MelrosePark and is one of the few remnants of the town's once-predominent Italian heritage. The food is, of course, almost entirely Italian and suprisingly creative for a neighborhood 'joint'. Homemade pastas (especially the ravioli), seafood & veal are excellent and prepared with daily-changed variations in sauce and presentation.... More

Abruzzos is a great neighborhood restaurant with great food with generous portions. The outdoor patio is beautiful and weekends offer entertainment of traditional Italian-American entertainment. The staff are helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend this fun restaurant!

The food, service and atmosphere at this restaurant are the best. I have read the other reviews and did not experience anything bad. Our server was very attentive and we felt very well cared for. I don't know about any one else but I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know visiting Chicago.

I walked in knowing that many people have complained that the servers are to busy conversing amongst themselves and with friends they forget about their tables. Well, I couldn't even get the attention of the busboy or bartender to ask them to get our waitress so we could tell her she brought our food to us room temp. All of... More
