We ordered our 1st pizza cooked in the wood burning oven. This is the way real pizza is made. They also have American style. Ours was takeout so can't comment on service or atmosphere .

Enjoyed our meal at Marzano's yesterday. They waitresses were friendly and polite and the food was great! I had a stuffed chicken breast with ricotta, mozerella and spinach with a homemade sauce. I personally don't like spinach but decided to try something new. It was really good! I felt, though, the chicken portion could have been just a bit larger.... More

I was recently in McHenry for a week attending a training seminar at my company headquarters nearby. I'd gotten into town around dinner time and was starving. I walked over from then hotel at the suggestion of their desk staff. I was not disappointed! I had the fried mozzarella appetizer, a salad, and the gnocchi with vodka sauce. Superb!!!! I... More

The place was clean, friendly and the staff very helpful. Food was great and what they offered made it hard to decide on your Entrée. Certainly would have dinner there again.

Dined as a quartet and there were three excellent meals and one that was just OK. The Ahi Tuna, the butternut squash ravioli and the lasagna were all excellent. The veal was not as tender as it should have been. Entrees came with soup (good) or salad (very good) although for the prices being charged, I found it silly to... More

We've been living about a mile and a half from this restaurant for over 10 years, but the Dunhill's steakhouse that used to be there was not a favorite. A rainy night in July became the time we tried the "new" restaurant. 1000 degree pizza was very good...4 cheeses of yummy. The Bolognese was rich and comforting. The scallops over... More

It was decent enough. Typical Italian place. We had a 9 hour drive into McHenry, and while it was a bit heavy of a meal, it was fairly well prepared. I had the spaghetti, which was well prepared. The meat sauce was a bit on the heavy side but otherwise very tasty. Would eat here again.

We decided to stop here as it is close to where my mom lives & she had never been there. We had been by a few times but it never looked like many people were ever there......found out later they did not open until dinner time during the day was the reason no cars when we went by. We walked... More

It was my first time eating here and we must have gotten the worlds worst server. There was a waitress that was watching and picking up the slack for our waiter. She notified management about our distress and he came over and offered a "special Marzano pizza". I thought it was bland. The other food we had was average, salad... More

This is a small restaurant that I had a chance to visit because there was a meeting I attended. The service was excellent and prompt. We were seated in a private room and it was very quiet. Food was also good.
