We dined at 17th Street BBQ on a Friday evening and enjoyed the service and the food. The service was extremely fast and our server was super helpful in selecting beers from a large menu of brews. We started with a basket of southern fried dill pickles. Super addicting! And we shared a half-rack... read more

This Is Memphis style BBQ at its finest. My husband & I shared the 2 meat platter and both the pulled pork and chicken were excellent. The fried okra is a treat as well good service and quaint BBQ joint atmosphere. We would definitely eat here again

We had a very large group the place was very friendly and accommodated our large group without a problem. Food was very good only complaint was the loaded baked potatoes were luke warm and tasted like they were warmed up in the microwave. Everyone that had anything barbequed was very pleased. The staff was very friendly.

Great food as always. Had the BBQ sandwich which came on a large bun piled high with meat. Also, the full bar helped me wash it down.

We weren't going to eat here. The reviews were mixed. The hotel said it was great so we went. Kind of underwhelmed with our server. He was fine but nothing over the top. We like our barbecue with sauce choices. There is only one choice on the table. I had the turkey sandwich which I realize wasn't barbecue. It was... More

Went here on the word of a local. We were not disappointed. A great place, casual with a well stocked bar. The ribs have won awards, and after eating them, I agree. They were outstanding!

This was our second time eating at 17th St. barbecue. The restaurant is very nice and the inside is extremely pleasing. This time we ordered the platter which offers a sampling of all their various items. They do a great job smoking and cooking their meats. My only complaint was the sausage was very spicey hot. Everything else we tasted... More

We met friends here for dinner one night when passing through Marion. The BBQ was good. I had the brisket and pork shoulder combination with baked beans and mac and cheese. It was way too much food for one person, but it was delicious. You could easily split the combination platters between two people. The baked beans were really good,... More

My husband has a list of barbecue restaurants on his bucket list. This happens to be in the top five. As we were driving right through Marion on our way home from a vacation, we knew we needed to stop here for lunch. My husband, our son, and I shared an order of deep-fried pickles, the championship sampler, a side... More

I had to run to catch a plane, so I grabbed some food from 17th Street Barbecue for lunch. The food was very good (lean brisket sandwich, collard greens, mac and cheese, ribs, and caramel bread pudding), and I am sure it would have been even better if I had had the time to sit down and eat in the...
