Always good.

Award winning BBQ. Always a good meal. Conveniently located in the Hills area. Close to Rent One Park and Menards. Sprinkle their Magic Dust on everything.

My husband and I came to a family and friends gathering at this restaurant. We found it to be good, in terms of the food, but there were a couple of things that kept it from being great. First, the founders and cooks have a habit of putting something they call "Magic Dust" on lots of menu items. This concoction... More

Due to travel delays we walked in 30 mins prior to closing. We were treated very well. Our waitress suggested different menu items for us and it was served quickly and the food was hot, fresh and tasted great!

When I travel to Michigan from Texas I stay in Marion. 17th is down the street from the hotels I'll stay in. I always look forward to stopping in and eating here. Being from Texas, I'm a bit biased and felt the baby back ribs are a bit dry. But flavor is great. The BBQ chicken dish is very good... More

Myself and my boyfriend are staying in the Marion and Carbondale area for my bday. We asked our hotel of recommendation for restaurants and they told us about 17th St Barbecue...which was about 3 businesses down from the hotel. We were greeted warmly at the door, was seated right away, and server was pleasant and willing to recommend items. Portions... More

We were searching for a good place to have dinner and saw 17th Street. This place did not disappoint! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the potato skins!

17st has been my "go to" place for the past couple of years. There are not many things on the menu that I have not tried. What I truly like about 17st is the consistency. Both in quality of food and service. If you happen to be a business traveler and traveling alone. Belly up to the bar and Lisa... More

I've eaten at the original Murphysboro location several times and while it brings with it the charm of an older place the Marion outpost still has great food. I'm very frankly not the biggest fan of racks of ribs which is their signature item but the ones at 17St. are very good. What's great is the brisket--some of the best... More

This place was within walking distance from Country Inn. Good food at reasonable prices. We had an order of fried dill pickles prior to dinner. They were slices instead of the usual whole pickles which makes them easier to dip in the sauce. Many choices on the menu including ribs and chicken. Every Tuesday they roast a whole pig which... I keep giving this place chances. I go there every few months and always expect better. The pulled pork is always a safe bet, it's not bad but not anything great. The ribs are never good. The last time my sides were cold and the waitress looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for new ones. There... More
