Superior service and food

I went to Honeybakers with my mother and grandmother. We all had a great time. The rolls are to die for as is the BBQ.

Our family is traveling from South Dakota to Georgia. We were hoping for home cooked food instead of another chain. This was exactly what we were looking for. Meatloaf sandwich, Mac n cheese, and the dinner rolls were amazing!

This is my must have food when I visit family in Southern Illinois! They have the best rolls and desserts. The meringue pies are a must try, but all the pies are delicious! They have the tallest meringues I've ever seen on a pie! The portion sizes are a good size for the price you pay. The staff is always... More

My husband and I stopped for a late lunch early this week, and both got the Mandarin Orange Salad. The yogurt dressing is to die for! We decided on the salad so we could get one of their famous desserts. My husband got the pecan pie, and I got the coconut meringue pie. When they say meringue, they are not... More

My favorite is the Baked Mac & Cheese. The salads are fresh, and the rolls/butter are magnificently unique. I also recommend the Homemade Poppyseed Chicken Honeybake

When traveling we like to try local places and avoid the chains we can go to at home. Reading the other reviews the food sounded good so we stopped and it did not disappoint. We got sandwiches which we split to save room for dessert. The rolls are fantastic so really enjoyed the mini meatloaf sandwiches served in them. Desserts... More

Normally a ranking of 20 in a relatively small town wouldn't catch my eye, but the name was intriguing, it wasn't another standard franchise and there was potential for homemade pie .... After dining there I can't imagine why this place isn't ranked in the top 5. The homemade yeast rolls with honey butter were served warm and literally melted... More

I lived in southern Illinois for ten years, and ate at dozens of different restaurants. Honeybakers is easily in my top 5 places to eat in the 618. Their rolls are great. Their barbecue is awesome. The meatloaf minis wrapped in bacon are off the charts. And their wide array of desserts never disappoints. The prices are reasonable, the service... More

We like to eat at Honeybakers when in Marion. The pie this unbelievable the maringue this a mile high. Cinnamon rolls as big as your face....and cake that puts all others to shame. Food this good also... had the prime rib loaded potato and a salad.. little pricey on the prime rib... but, good and brought some home. You won't... More
