It was very loud, Great food

This is a new place in town. The food was Great but it was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. We took our Asia exchange student for lunch. I am not sure she will go back. We will do carry out the next time we eat here.

Yen Ching closed in spring of 2014. The restaurant that moved into the space, Yummy Chen's, opened in late summer of 2014 and closed suddenly in early January of 2015. At the time of this writing, this building is no longer in business either as Yen Ching or Yummy Chen.

The new name is Yummy Chen's and it had it's grand opening the end of August 2014. It has been a very busy place and a friend and I finally got a chance to eat there for lunch. It is advertised as Thai food, but when we arrived, there was a sign on the door stating that the Thai menu was... More

The food tasted fine, the atmosphere was tacky, and I was sick as a dog afterward....maybe just too much msg.

I had shrimp veins left all at the bottom of the container... I wanted to puke! Another time I ordered Pad Thai Shrimp, which was dry, no sauce.. and barely any taste. Very unlike any other Pad Thai I've had before.

Now, I'm from California where Chinese food is almost on every corner. The prices and portions were descent, however, the food was very bland, not bad, just a bit boring.

Best Chinese food in Macomb of the five Oriental restaurants. The Thai food is very good and not well advertised. Good delivery anywhere in town and quite fast

Ordered take out and was surprised that the orange chicken came as fired chicken separate from the orange sauce. I should have asked for more orange sauce to coat the chicken, but overall it was very good Chinese food. Great flavor.

The portions are generous and the food quite good. We particularly liked the Thai food.

I like Yen Cheng because of the table service vs. a buffett. The food is good, and the table service is good too. Nice ambiance, bar service, and reasonably priced.
