Loved this place!!

Had a wonderful meal of the onion and cheese pie. Strongbow on draft. The scotch egg appetizer is good, but served cold, and I prefer mine warm. Otherwise, will most definitely be back!!

I come here to listen to music on the weekends mostly. Live bands are pretty good. The few times I ate it was really good.

This place was shockingly good. I came in with very little expectations and every single person in my six person party was happy. I loved the food, the beer, and the atmosphere. I will be coming here regularly.

This place has a Irish theme to it. Wife and I love fish so we went for the fish and chips which I was told was excellent. Service was as slow as could be. Very few others eating. The fish came out hot and there was a nice plate of it. My problem was the fish was covered in about... More

Always love a night out at the Hope and Anchor! Interesting menu options. Always more than satisfied. Some favorites include the salmon, onion rings and fish and chips.

2 of us had the fish and chips. Both felt it was just fair. Mine was over cooked and batter was to "heavy". We asked waitress about chips and she indicated they were "chips" which is what my brother wanted but they were really fries. One had the lamb/scalloped potato pie. No flavor and lamb was tough.

We took the kids to see a friend who was playing in the band that night expecting to get typical bar food. What a spectacular surprise! My husband & I had the fish and chips and the flavor was amazing. The boys had cheeseburgers and they said they were very good. The service was excellent, from the perfect pace of... More

We went with friends for a supper and drinks. This was the first time here for me and I thought they had a wide range of beers. I had there fish and chips and my wife the baked cod, I will say I,ve had much better. We went outside for a few drinks then, and that was very nice. The... More

I've been to this jernt a number of times and have never been disappointed. The decor is silly and kind of fun, the food is always as billed, and the service excellent. A large number of craft beers in cans and bottles. We always get Fish and Chips and my son has attempted to eat the Fat B burger several... More
