Lunch or dinner, the fish here is excellent. They have great shrimp and don't forget the brats. Nothing here will make your vegan friend happy, but, do you really care? The staff is always happy to see you walk in the door, I've actually walked in 5 minutes before closing and it wasn't a problem. The place is clean and... More

Think Johnson's Fish not Johnsonville Brats when you are looking for that special Wisconsin meal. We have been enjoying Johnson's since 1993 and believe still that this is the best perch and walleye around. Great spot to enjoy the best lake fish at a very reasonable price. Go to Johnson's!!!!

I must say I had my doubts with this place. I am very picky with fried seafood especially catfish and good places in these burbs are few and far between but I had a taste for it and decided to finally check it out. I am very happy I did. The place itself is pretty drab and rundown looking inside... More

Good fried shrimp(think i'll order the lightly breaded and ask for the special cocktail sauce for a few cents more next time) ,good fried scallops, decent fried catfish. Liked the coleslaw(order 2 if you really like it with every bite as the portion is small) & good hushpuppies. I should have added fries to my meal as i was still... More

If you want tasteless over cooked fish this is the place for you! The staff is the only saving grace to this place. The young man who was in the kitchen was personable and outgoing. How anyone could call this place a "great restaurant" or a "great family jewel" is a joke. The potato pancakes were bland deep fried discs... More

The counter woman is far from efficient- has no regards for people waiting-- she continually talks long after bill is paid while others are waiting to be seated. Unfortunately it appears she is part of the family?? Our fish was very good, cole saw was excellent and the gentleman who delivered our food was outstanding and very courteous, the opposite... More

I have been going to Johnson's for 30 years and have never been disapointed. The fried shrimp is excellent. Large hand breaded and fresh, cooked to order. Great sides and very friendly staff. Excellent value.

We order from Johnson's at least monthly. We love the shrimp dinner and the broiled cod with curly fries. My husband always has a bowl of clam chowder. In the Fall, the homemade bread pudding with cranberries is a must! This is not a full service restaurant, but can be very crowded with locals, especially during Lent.

My wife and I both enjoyed our visit here. We both had fried cod, baked potato and cole slaw. All were excellent. They offer a great variety of seafood broiled or fried with dozens of sides to choose from. The cod was crispy and light, perfectly cooked. The potato was perfectly baked and moist. The slaw wasn't swimming nor did... More
