Great for big parties

The food is always fresh and hot, we always do family style so we can try more than two or three entrees. My kids always eat until they're full at this place. My favorite is the chicken Marsala.

What I liked was that it is such a unique building and place. You don't get a lot of that in restaurants these days. What I didn't like though was that with Italian dishes that might sound the same, cannelloni and cannoli, you would think that after we've ordered a meal and eaten and are trying to order dessert .... Big portions, wonderfully fun and tacky décor and delicious a bit different Italian. A big menu with something for everyone but pick wisely because they are big dishes served family style.

Possibly this would have been better for a large group. We have a small family and we ended up spending way more than we normally would for a dinner. Being served family style really isn't family portions unless you have several appetizers and/or entrees. Unfortunately, though divided portion size is small the price is not. I have a hard time... This was a pleasant surprise for my fussy Italian food loving family. We went for dinner while in Chicago for the Junior Gold Bowling Championships. It was easy to get to, lots of mall type shopping nearby, and the service was exceptional. Food is served family style. The small penne vodka feeds three or four people easily even though menu... We had GREAT Service along with lots of different meals. There was 6 of us. We started with 3 different appetizers. Each won was served hot and was large enough to share. Each on of us had a different entrée and shared each one. There was not a complaint from anyone. Then we shared 3 different deserts. The tiramisu was... More

Buca di Beppo has long been a go to favorite place when I am craving Italian food. They have classic dishes such as their various pastas but also some trendy ones like the prosciutto stuffed chicken breast which was excellent. Come hungry as the portions are huge. The atmosphere is eclectic, take some time to look around at some of... More

Family style, very hot and tasty food serve in humongous portion. I love their seafood pasta, crammed full of shrimp, mussels in a rich garlicky tomatoes sauce. The Pop's table has a concave ceiling that make conversation across the table very interesting, your voice echo and get magnify ...but it is hard to reserve.

The food was really good and obviously cooked fresh and not from a can. They have large portions that will leave you with some to take home, so plan for it. The desserts are awesome!

We went here to celebrate a birthday. Yes the food and service are above average. The plates come family style so there will be leftovers. Of course they had a gluten free menu BUT they did not offer any gluten free dishes as an individual dish. Not so great for my family who wanted pasta. There are lots of Italian... More
