Went to this restaurant because it was attached to the Harry Carey restaurant. A party of 13 people, and we were presented with both menus. With 13 people we had a variety of items from both menus, including hors d'oeuvres. No one had a greast meal, the basic comment was just ok. THe oysters Rockefeller were so bad they didn't... More

We go to this restaurant, located in the Westin, at the same address. We love their food, they have the best tomato bisque and clam chowder. Great service and you can also order off the menu at Harry Carey's next door.

The food was ok but expected more. The prices for a full meal are out ragious! I would suggest lunch there and go to dinner and breakfast else where.

My wife, daughter and I truly enjoyed our dinner here at Holy Mackerel. We had recently arrived from Cleveland. The weather was almost unbearably cold. We dined late in the evening and absolutely felt comfortable, warm, and enjoyed, beyond expectations, our seafood dinner. Wonderful alternative to meats and pasta! The server was very attentive and we lingered with friends.

We ate here on a recent trip to Chicago to attend a family event. The food was excellent, I had the the sesame crusted yellowfin tuna which had a bit of a delighful spicy kick to it. My dining partner had a Spanish style mixed seafood bowl that got much praise. There is a side selection of wines by the... More

Had breakfast here one morning ( staying at the Westin hotel). Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered an omlette which came with side of englishmuffins and hash potatoes. It was all nice but not amazing.

The food is excellent and the service even better. We ate there one time while staying on business. While the price isn't cheap, you are also able to eat off of the Harry Carey's menu. Very nice atmosphere.

Love the feel and decor. Enjoyed most everything on the menu but was disappointed with the Seafood Paella. The Rumchata Martini is De-Lish. There was one thing that happened that disappointed me. Earlier this month a girlfriend and I met there for dinner and stayed for a nightcap. I felt that one of the waiters took things a little too... More

I've dined at Holy Mackerel many times and its one of my favorite places to eat in the Lombard area. Its relaxing, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. Try their French Kiss Martini...to die for!
