Fabulous sandwiches

Probably the best salmon burger I've ever had. They make them fresh, and that was apparent. Service was excellent at lunch. We also had breakfast there the next day. If you are at the hotel, this is a nice option. Lots of choices.

Ate many times, every time was wonderful. A few of the wait staff could have been a little more prompt.

I only breakfast there. It was average quality and typical hotel cost. I did not have the opportunity to try the lunch or dinner.

Had a great meal with friends on a business trip this week. We ordered calamari and a tuna appetizer. Both were excellent. I ordered a seafood Cobb salad and it was huge with giant shrimp. My friends's burger was very good. Highly recommend.

This is a nice hotel restaurant. I enjoyed my omelettes I had for breakfast. They were well cooked. The service was a plus. Of course the hotel location made it quite convenient.

We went down to have a light dinner and both decided on the fish and chips, it was a large portion and I had trouble finishing the whole meal. It was good served with a loaf of hot bread.

I stayed at the Westin Yorktown and ate at Holy Mackerel while I was there. While there are lots of options in the area, it was very cold and I wanted something close. There is a nice selection of the traditional seafood favorites (almost all of the basics in fish). I choose the macadamia encrusted tilapia, because I was looking... More

I have eaten here several times. Good seafood, attentive service. A bit loud. Would not consider this a romantic place for dinner. More utilitarian. Pricey.

I really enjoy breakfast at Holy Mackerel whenever I'm staying in the Westin Yorktown Lombard hotel (see my review of it). They have a nice variety of items on their menu, and several choices of jam/jelly flavors for my toast (I recall at least 5). I enjoyed a skillet platter. One caution, I come from a small town and the... More

Attended a conference at the Westin Yorktown, in which this Holy Mackerel is located. Greeted quickly and very courteously. The menu was extensive. I tried the Deep Dish omelet, an adaptation of Chicago area's famous pizzas. The 4 egg concoction was brimming with sausage, peppers and onions, and kept me full most of the day. The cost was a little... More
