It was just O.K.

The atmosphere was great. It was really welcoming on a cold Chicago evening. The service was supurb, just the right amount of helpfulness without being overbearing and she really knew the menu. I had never been to a Brio restaurant before but thoroughly enjoyed my experience. On a quiet Monday night in February, two colleagues and I had a delicious meal here with gracious service. The decor is lovely and noise is muted; we were seated (sans reservations) in a spacious booth. Our meal consisted of a shared bruschetta appetizer, pasta and... More

It was a busy night. The waitress got all our orders mixed up. Brought numerous wrong appetizers and entrees. Messed up dessert, so we just passed on what we didn't get. The food was good. Ambience too frenetic. Would not go back.

Went for the appetizers. Wife had been there, I hadn't. Ask for the cat "gatto" to be your server, he's good. They have runners bring the different courses. Our meals were delicious service was good I'd recommend this place

We dined at Brio on new years eve. We informed our server, melanie that we had theater tickets for an 8:30 pm show. She did not rush us and although she had several tables, we felt that we were her only table. Everything we ordered was done to perfection and was extremely tasty.

Outstanding service and food. We were pleasantly surprised when waiter had our shared salads split in the kitchen. We ate from the lighter fare menu. Portions were still large enough and tasted great. Kids meal portions are the size of an adult meal at many restaurants. We will definitely return.

OK, so here is the bottom line. Broad menu selection. Good (sometimes very good) service. An OK wine list. Nice bar area with interesting small plate items. A very pleasant decor. Can be busy especially on weekends so a reservation is a good idea. Kid friendly although you don't see too many there on a given evening. Has a couple... More

I've eaten here numerous times, so obviously enjoy it. Had a family get together for a holiday dinner, and so I suggested Brio. Disappointed this time - not sure if they were short staffed, or what. Love their rosemary flatbread, and a basket always appears magically almost as soon as we sit down. This time, waited and waited, and finally... More

Went there for lunch with a friend whom I've not seen in awhile. We both ordered Salmon dishes and I was VERY impressed. Delicious. And I am a very picky person. the atmosphere was conversation friendly, no rushing us (we were there for 2hours), and there was no fans blowing on us, a comfortable temperature. What more could one ask... More
