The place has interesting decor. Nice waitresses but slow. We had a longer wait than anticipated in the bar area. The place was packed and festive. All of the meats were good. The salads could have offered some additional veggies for some color. We would go back.

Bavarian Lodge is an institution in the area. If you like Authentic German/Bavarian food, you can't go wrong. And the beer selection is absolutely outstanding if you like craft and import selections. My personal favorite is sour braten (sp) with schnitzel, but anything you get will amaze. Atmosphere is relaxed and dark wood paneling make you feel like you are... More

This has the BEST breaded pork tenderloin I ever had! I have been able to taste-test other foods, as well, and everything is very good. I especially like the spatzle. It is a nice alternative to potatoes.

Went to The Bavarian Lodge with friends and it had a great selection of beverages and food. Everything was delicious and would return back soon. Easy place to have conversations and a great atmosphere with the German touch.

Interesting place as the lodge or "bar area" was packed on this night. Loud but you could still hear each other. Hate being bumped around while we waited (over an hour) for our table but they had an outstanding drink menu which we thoroughly enjoyed and was able to order appetizers from the bar. Bar service was knowledgeable and outstanding!... More

we have eaten here several times and the food is always worth the trip. If you are a beer drinker, they have an extensive list of choices.

The Bavarian Lodge does very well on the food side of presenting a reliable bierstube experience. Not all of the dishes are German really, hence my reference to it being "Germanic". My quibbles on that aside, the food was very enjoyable from start to finish. Sausages in particular were great. Entrees were delivered piping hot. Beer list is extensive. Wines... More

Stopped by after 9 on a Saturday, we were seated in a booth with high sides so it was very private. We were also fortunate to be placed in front of a little "fireplace" while a bit cheesy - was still nice in a kitschy sort of way. Beer list was enormous and descriptions rather tongue in cheek for some... More
