Cozy and delicious food!

Went for a late dinner. Service was good and the food was delightful! The price was right on target for comfort food.

The kids and decided to go here on a lark. Wow! It was really delicious, authentic German food. Our waitress was very friendly and kind as well. The restaurant was very charmingly decorated, as if you were in a little house in the Alps. The only drawback was that it was a bit expensive, but for a special treat, it... More

wow, the beer list is incredible. I wish that someone else was driving because I would have loved to sample several of the obscure things offered ON TAP! anyway, food was straightforward German fare, good stuff, very filling. the place is dark inside but that comes with the territory. It was pricey.

This was my first time at this establishment. My wife and I were visiting our son in Chicago, and he raved about their food. I ordered the roulade and was disappointed. We had driven for 45 minutes in Chicago area traffic from his downtown apartment only to be let down by the food. The menu said my dinner included dumplings.... More

I have been to Germany and had the origional stuff, but this place comes close. The portions are hearty and the service is very good. The beer menu is amazing and they have something for everyone. Be prepared to wait on a table on most nights, but it is so worth it!!

y wife and I have been here several times over the years. If you want traditional German cuisine you are here. A nice ambiance inside as well. I don't think you will be disappointed. The only thing I miss is; all inside dining, no outside seating area.

My daughter and son-in-law were visiting from out of town, and I was on vacation, so we were able to go on a Thursday night when the crowds were not as heavy. They have an excellent selection of craft beers, in bottles and on tap, both domestic and foreign. The list can be a little overwhelming at first glance. We... More

We decided to eat at the Bavarian Lodge the night before a family wedding. There were 12 people in our party and were given 2 tables as the restaurant does not have tables to seat large parties together. Our server was excellent as was the food. The bride's father grew up on German food so he was in heaven with... More

This is a great place to get German food. the weiner schnitzel is excellent. The waiter suggested beers to go along with the food and that was quite helpful. the wall decorations add to the ambiance. We had a great experience and will get back there soon.
