I have good memories of this place...used to go with a north-sider friend. The food is consistently good and the service is excellent too. I've had some really good soup, seafood (Tilapia and Salmon) and desserts. The restaurant has a great feel to it- very welcoming and warm- the whole lodge feel. I'd say it's an old-school, dinner club kinda... More

We come here often with friends who live in this particular area of the Chicago suburbs. The place is always very busy, and we've never been disappointed in the food. In addition to starter salads for several of us, my husband splurged and had the filet and baked potato, which were excellent; I had the walleye with a side of... More

The service at this restaurant was excellent, and management was great about accommodating our request for a quiet booth for six. Three of us ordered ribs, but the others struggled with finding something appealing from the menu, and then were disappointed in our choices. Nothing special about our meals here.

I have been here several times and am always amazed that they attract diners of all ages, families with young kids, couples and older diners. Have even eaten very early and it's still full. I have had ribs and burgers in the past (all good), but this time I had the almond crusted walleye and it was terrific. The portion... More

We made a special trip to the restaurant for my birthday, specifically for the Breaded Pork Tenderloin special. It was fantastic - thin and crispy, and the breading is not too thick. Had a wonderful turkey chowder that was perfect for autumn. For dessert, their apple strudel is top-notch. Everything that everyone had was good!

Good good old world beef brisket as well as delicious and light salads. Good bread, good salad dressing, good everything in a fun, noisy atmosphere. Has a vintage look as many other Lettuce Entertain You places. We stop by whenever we are nearby.

We ordered cheddar cheeseburgers and fries to take out. Our first time here. Burgers tasted like they were 50% fat. Fries were very greasy. I did not eat my food. Would never go here again. Perhaps the food served inside the restaurant is better. . . Very disappointing based on all the good reviews.

Came with daughter who just really wanted to have the LWoods Chopped Salad tonight so we got a Large, wow, enough for 4-5 people, at least, so she gladly brought the rest home with her. Loaded with tons of bacon, blue cheese, mini macaroni, it was as tasty as I remembered. Since we weren't too hungry we didnt order our... More

Had a cheeseburger which was cooked perfectly but cheddar cheese spread was used on it rather than a slice of cheese. It made the burger mushy to eat as well as too salty. The waiter offered mashed, baked, mac and cheese or creamed spinach with it not announcing this did not accompany the burger but was extra. I chose the... More

Their flat bread is the thinnest I have ever eaten and was crispy delicious, with basil pesto and sundered tomato. The fried calamari were not greasy. Chicken wings were good. The bbq ribs, breaded walleye, chopped salad, chocolate cake, lime pie, and banana cream pie were all excellent. Their chocolate martinis were super. Service was great. No wonder this restaurant...
