Our first impression of this restaurant was, where are we going to park? Inside, restaurant was buzzing with people. Yester year supper club sort of look, dim lighting, thick red booths. We had reservations and were seated immediately in a booth that more than comfortably seated our group. We had a very attentive, professional waiter. Menus, drinks,, appetizers and entrees... More

We've been dining at L. Woods since dinosaurs roamed the earth and the place was called "Bones." Although the kitchen continues to crank out excellent supper club-style fare, the service seems to be slipping - great one time, confused/disorganized the next. At our recent dinner, the kitchen had run out of nearly all of the fresh fish entrees by 7... More

I've been here many times over the years and L Woods always ranges from very good to awesome. Salmon, veggie burger, salads are terrific. The down-side is in fact that it's too crowded and very hard to navigate or, God forbid, someone in your group has a walker or moves slowly, you'll hold up 5 servers holding huge plates of... More

I just came from L.Woods, a place my family and I have been to at least 25 times through the years, and I am sadly quite disappointed for the first time. When we walked in, it was especially busy due to the holidays so they had seemingly added several tables to the restaurant floor, making mobility for a handicapped person... More

I have good memories of this place...used to go with a north-sider friend. The food is consistently good and the service is excellent too. I've had some really good soup, seafood (Tilapia and Salmon) and desserts. The restaurant has a great feel to it- very welcoming and warm- the whole lodge feel. I'd say it's an old-school, dinner club kinda... More

We come here often with friends who live in this particular area of the Chicago suburbs. The place is always very busy, and we've never been disappointed in the food. In addition to starter salads for several of us, my husband splurged and had the filet and baked potato, which were excellent; I had the walleye with a side of... More

The service at this restaurant was excellent, and management was great about accommodating our request for a quiet booth for six. Three of us ordered ribs, but the others struggled with finding something appealing from the menu, and then were disappointed in our choices. Nothing special about our meals here.

I have been here several times and am always amazed that they attract diners of all ages, families with young kids, couples and older diners. Have even eaten very early and it's still full. I have had ribs and burgers in the past (all good), but this time I had the almond crusted walleye and it was terrific. The portion... More

We made a special trip to the restaurant for my birthday, specifically for the Breaded Pork Tenderloin special. It was fantastic - thin and crispy, and the breading is not too thick. Had a wonderful turkey chowder that was perfect for autumn. For dessert, their apple strudel is top-notch. Everything that everyone had was good!

Good good old world beef brisket as well as delicious and light salads. Good bread, good salad dressing, good everything in a fun, noisy atmosphere. Has a vintage look as many other Lettuce Entertain You places. We stop by whenever we are nearby.
