As a Chicagoan, I have access to some of the finest dining on the continent. I am also inundated by every fast food and chain restaurant around. With that being said, during a recent trip to Lincoln, Illinois, I stopped in Hallie's Lunch Box. This is the kind of small town dining that I can't find in Chicago. This place... more

Home made food at a reasonable price. Small cozy atmosphere. Awsome walleye on Friday nites. It is the home of the schnitzel. Don't pass up the home fries with grilled onions more
