Decent place to venture to in the NW suburbs

Showed up late at night, was very crowded (in a good way), had a decent band playing, drinks were moderately priced. I was not fond of the bartenders but good atmosphere. I plan on returning again in the near future...

I like the atmosphere and the service was very good but the food and beer were just ok. There were three of us, we had a steak sandwich, a burger and a kids meal. The food was very similar to what you'd get at Chili's or Fridays, nothing special or exceptional. Unfortunately, there was nothing special or exceptional about the... More

Mickey Finn's recent relocation south on Milwaukee avenue has left one of the best restaurants and breweries in northern Illinois in shambles. Any "reopening" is going to have their share of startup glitches, but when management takes a condescending attitude about the shortcomings, there's nothing left for this micro-brew fan to do but to move on to the MANY other... Went to the new Mickey Finn's, the food is just as good if not better. The new place is more open brighter and more room. The bar is great with TV running along the wall is great for sports. Love the beers.

Food was great, prices were good, staff is friendly. Went here twice during my stay. Both times were very enjoyable. Would recommend it to everyone.

I was excited to finally check out MF's new location. As other reviews have stated, it can be a challenge to find parking. Once we found a spot, my son and I went on in during lunch rush. We sat at the bar, which was very comfy and welcoming to sit at. I opted for a Misty Mountain IPA. It... More

Mickey Finn's has been a great go-to place for pub food in Libertyville for years. They really kicked it up a notch with their new location, just down the street from the original place. Parking can be a challenge but I ultimately found some parking behind the restaurant.

I had a lunch a few days ago with some friends at the new Mickey Finn's in Libertyville's quaint downtown. Service was excellent, food was terrific--sandwiches excellent, and I would highly recommend the chips and delicious homemade salsa. Very fun time, highly recommended.

This place had a heritage when it still occupied part of the old Flaggs bar in downtown Libertyville. It seems to have lost some charm when it expanded into a larger more homogeneous place across the street. Sure it has more TVs and you can find your friends easier in the expansive no barrier dining area. But I miss the... More

Great spot, microbrewery on the premises. Food selection is great and individual selections delicious. Busy, fun vibe, alfresco dining in spring to early fall available. Right in the heart of charming Libertyville.
