The family loves going to this place for Pierogis, potato pancakes and tripe soup. The service is always great and very friendly. It's especially great when it's cold outside…very hearty and tummy filling!

Small German/Polish restaurant that has great classic eastern european dishes. The server was Polish and so was the draft beer, both were great. I had the German plate and a friend had the Polish plate both were excellent. This was a good way to get a variety of entrees. They close early on weeknights so make sure to check their... More

My wife and I had lunch here. We were impressed. The restaurant is located in downtown Lemont. This restaurant has a very good selection of homemade Eastern European foods, mostly an assortment of Lithuanian, Polish and German dishes. My wife ordered their breaded tenderloin and I ordered a combo of breaded tenderloin and roast duck. The meals included an assortment... More

We were celebrating a friends's retirement. They selected this restaurant on the recommendation of friends. It was a step into old Europe. The menu was filled with the traditional items but they offered some American dishes for those of us not so schooled in the Polish dishes. Many of the patrons were clearly "regulars" but they treat us newcomers with... More

After more than 2 years in the a Western 'burbs, finally took the plunge to try what was supposed to be authentic Polish cum simple European fare...and it was!!! Nothing fancy, nothing twee, just honest-to-God fare reminiscent of a meal you'd get whether in Bydgoszcz, Cesky Krumlov or even Munich. Fantastic, unpretentious and flavoursome while great value to-boot. Split an... More

Service was great, very knowledgable about the menu, eager to please and provide whatever information you need. The decor is almost a little chintzy, Swiss lodge like even, but adds to the character and charm of the place, and is just not quite too much! Good selection of Polish beers. Prices are great, and the food wonderful. We started with... More

The walls are decorated with Eastern European items, as is the menu, which offers a variety of authentic Polish and other Eastern European dishes, (not all of which are common on menus.) The restaurant is staffed the same way. There were four of us in our party. Each ordered a different meal. Each was thrilled with what was served. This... More

The decor makes you feel like you are in the middle of Europe. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. The prices are reasonable for the sizeable portions, including soup, two sides and dessert! The beer and wine prices are also reasonable. For good comfort food and a homey atmosphere, this is the place.
