Authentic. We love it even as an Iyalian family. Wished they delivered. It's very good food that we order often.

I openly admit that Eastern European cuisine is not my favorite, which affects the review. But I am very familiar with similar restaurants in Chicago. That said, I had two significant issues: they were not busy, but service was s-l-o-w. Getting our drink, easily 1/2 hour. Also, even though the duck shows up three different spots on the menu, they... More

We had Old Town Restaurant cater our mother's luncheon after her funeral service. My sister had made the initial calls and email exchanges with Gerri, the owner, placing the order for 60 people. Then when it was getting closer to the day of, my sister had asked if I reconfirm that they have the order set for the correct date... More

The place is clean and service is good. I have been there several times and always get the breaded pork tenderloin. The soups are always good and they have variety of great breads. The portions are large and I really like this place.

Went for lunch with a large group (14) and everyone enjoyed their choices. Some had the duck, cabbage rolls, German plate, Polish plate and Hungarian goulash. They served a nice variety of breads before the soups/salads came. The saurkraut soup and liver dumpling were both very good. We definitely will be going back!

This adorable restaurant brings back fond memories of small cafes in Poland and the Czech Republic. Viktor, our server was 100% attentive and appropriately friendly. The food is authentic Polish/German/Czech cuisine with hearty portions. The seasonings were perfect and everything was served fresh and hot. The entrees include a cup of soup or salad, side dish, beverage and homemade dessert.... More

Excellent tasty food with a European atmosphere. Servers not the most pleasant and not much attention to satisfying customers but meal was correct and good tasting.

Friendly service and authentic Polish food...plenty of it. A nice atmosphere with a "your at home" feel. Roast duck, pork, chicken and Polish specialties are all worth trying. Prices are remarkably low for the quality and quantity of hearty Polish fare.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner last night and were thoroughly impressed. An old style Polish/German type restaurant with very friendly and efficeint service, but more importantly, very good food. We both had soup (liver dumpling for me and beef barley for her) which was hot, fresh, and very tasty. My wife had the german plate while I... More
