My mom is bohemian so I grew up and make the family version of this at home. The food is truely "homemade" so that in and of itself stands out. Traditional dishes such as roast pork, sauerkraut and dumplings are great! The meals include, soup, coffee and desert, you cant beat the value. And rye bread and a czech beer... More

We stopped with some friends who picked Old Town to have dinner. They both had the fried white fish, my wife had the sauerbraten and I had the Lithuanian plate. All was very very good. Even the soup (mushroom barley) was extraordinary. The service and the atmosphere was also great. We will be back.

When my husband and I go to Old Town we always say no menu please. The reason being I always have the pickled beef in sour cream sauce with dumplings and my husband has the 1/2 duck dinner. Very rarely have we been disappointed. The service is good and the prices are reasonable as well. Try their liver dumpling soup--yummy... More

We really like Eastern European food having been raised with that type of food growing up. Having eaten in many similar style restaurants, we always do compare. I feel that this one makes the dishes similarly, but had a little better tasting meals like this in other Chicago area places. The other thing I noticed were that their prices are... More

I have had dinner there on at least a dozen occaisions...I would recommend the Potato Dill Soup the Pierogi's and espicially the Lithuanian Sausage, only thing I didn't like is the Bread dumplings, Bland and chewy.

I went here last nite with a friend, i normally don't eat this type of food these days BUT i thought I would relive my past and what my mom used to make growing up. It was not disappointing, the pierog;s/ dumplings and bread were all home made and EXCELLENT. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes Polish food. I... More

The family loves going to this place for Pierogis, potato pancakes and tripe soup. The service is always great and very friendly. It's especially great when it's cold outside…very hearty and tummy filling!

Small German/Polish restaurant that has great classic eastern european dishes. The server was Polish and so was the draft beer, both were great. I had the German plate and a friend had the Polish plate both were excellent. This was a good way to get a variety of entrees. They close early on weeknights so make sure to check their... More

My wife and I had lunch here. We were impressed. The restaurant is located in downtown Lemont. This restaurant has a very good selection of homemade Eastern European foods, mostly an assortment of Lithuanian, Polish and German dishes. My wife ordered their breaded tenderloin and I ordered a combo of breaded tenderloin and roast duck. The meals included an assortment... More
