Decent but it used to be 5 stars

Went for my probably 8th visit and it's been a year or so since my last visit. I think overall there has been a slight decline but I still thoroughly enjoy the food. The soup is still fantastic, the carne asada is still great and the fajitas are really good. I was pleasantly surprised by the fun... read more

A simply wonderful Mexican Restaurant: Delicious and varied menu, ample portions, the freshest ingredients, wonderful presentation, attentive staff, wonderful colorful Mexican decor. You can't ask for more. Highly Recommended! BTW, the Casa's Fried Ice Cream is to die for good!

Went there on Saturday evening. Place was not especially busy at 6:00PM and not busy we leaving at 8:30PM. Perhaps there is a reason for that. We had a large group (17 adults) which the assigned two servers. The servers also had other tables to attend. They initially provided 3 small baskets of chips and 3 bowls of salas. Repeated... More

Came here Friday night with a friend for margaritas and was disappointed. The only reason I am giving this place any stars is because our waitress was amazing. We ordered their premium margarita which is served in a plastic cup, and the flavor of the mix they use just tastes off. We decided to split an order of steak fajitas.... More

My first visit to the restaurant was not what I expected after reading the reviews. Saturday night in LaGrange is usually busy, This restaurant was only 1/24 full. Our group of nine sat a really large table and it was hard to talk across the table. The chicken soup served was delicious. I had the Fajita salad with ground beef.... More

We had a hard time deciding which of the three Mexican restaurants in this area to try and we are happy we chose this one. The salsa wasn’t quite as spicy as we like but we added some hot sauce from the table and that took care of that. My tacos, beans, and rice were delicious. I am wary about... More

Very good fish tacos and burritos. The chips were warm and the salsa was good. Margaritas were also very good. I am looking forward to a return visit. Our server was also very attentive and seemed to be managing all of her tables quite well.

Well, this is my second restaurant I've been to in 2 days and I had bad luck again! I noticed all the good 4 and 5 star reviews for this restaurant but my friend and I were not impressed. I guess it was because we went there at 2pm on a Saturday which must be a bad time to eat.... More

I love my steak tacos (and carne asada)! This is one of my friends favorite places and we really try to get there twice a year. (we do not live in the area). Decent prices too.

I've been dining at Casa Margarita for years. If you're from the area, I think that you'll remember it as in the same location as "In Kahoots". Margaritas are good. Love the chicken soup starter! Portions are generous, food is aromatic and there's something for everyone on the menu. Service is friendly, and it's a festive place.
