Burgers are fantastic, and the salads are good too. Kids love the shakes! Wish there were more parking- in good weather its fine, but sometimes hard to get a spot

We were in LaGrange by chance and found this restaurant appealing and fortunately we had a good appetite. The people were friendly and the choices were so numerous it took us a while to read through them. Wanted to have one of each, but that was not possible. I had a Back Alley Burger and my husband had the BLT.... More

After Trader Joe's my husband and I stopped here before we went home. The restaurant is nice and love the wood tones. 20 bucks for 2 burgers and one coke is hardly a good deal. The 'shroom came with no fries, but if you order fries you can ask for more. I have eaten better food and received a better... More

We ended up at this place after we were rained out of the Summer Nights at the Brookfield Zoo on Saturday night. Burgers are a bit pricey, but they are everywhere. Beer and wine prices were pretty good though as well as the fresh fries. The burgers were supposed to be fresh, not frozen, but I have had better at... More

With so many burgers to choose from, Back Alley delivers great tasting All-American burgers. You can tell that care was added to all of the entries since the owners are local and devoted to a great final product. Clean and fresh looking restaurant.

I've rooted for the owners; this is their latest try at several restaurant concepts in town. Think they have found their place. Barely 50 yards from a Smashburger and down the block from Palmer Place, there are plenty of burger places nearby. BAB continues to come up with some really tasty offerings. I'm working my way through the menu, but... More

This is a quintessential burger and fries place - if that means you can get your burger 100 different ways (maybe I'm exaggerating). The chicken is so juicy and char-broiled - a great alternative for the white meat lovers like me. The fries are hand cut and crispy. Great for a Saturday lunch!

We went here after read the good reviews on tripadvisor. 5 stars is definitively too much. Burgers were quite good but we had better in other places. Too much oil and the taste wasn't enough for our expectations.

I ve taken a mexicali burger, I would like to have some guacamole and jalapeño but neither guacamole nor jalapeño were in my burger. Anyway, burger was not bad, not at all but there are other places whrpere you can eat better burger for less money.

Gotta love this place. Awesome burgers. Awesome shakes, the best I've ever had as a matter of fact. Gotta love Candace too, she is so sweet, helpful and talkative.. she really makes the place feel like home.
