Description: Kama Bistro is named after the Indian cupid, the god of love and passion...
Kama Bistro is named after the Indian cupid, the god of love and passion, symbolizing the aesthetic pleasure of the senses. Indulge your senses and experience the passion Kama brings to its food and service. This is not your ordinary Indian food. Kama Bistro’s menu puts an emphasis on fresh, high quality ingredients. Freshly ground spices go into sauces made from scratch every day. Homemade paneer (cottage cheese), all-natural chicken and prime domestic lamb make for superior protein. Everything is prepared to order to ensure its quality. The menu is rounded out with innovative cocktails, diverse wine and a select microbrew list to accompany your food. The martinis, including mango, cinnamon pleasure, pineapple and cucumber chili, are always made from fresh fruit purees and homemade syrups, all-natural and a perfect balance to spicy food.

Family Dinner Out

Wonderful atmosphere and even better food. Great traditional dishes, but also wonderful fusion of other cultures. My wife isn't a huge fan of Indian cuisine, but she had a great time and we will be back!

This was my first Indian food experience. So I have nothing to compare it to. I will say that the food was excellent and the same goes for the service. It seems like a hip spot to just go for a drink or have a nice dinner. I will definitely be back to try some other dishes.

We went here to celebrate my sisters birthday. She started off ordering a margarita at the bar which I found odd that they poured into a martini glass because they didn't have actual margarita glasses. Furthermore, we ordered a couple more Martinis on the menu which were $10 for mostly juice. The shrimp appetizer was really good, not sure the... More

We even have our children eating Indian food now! Our favorites- chili potatoes, samosa, chicken tikka masala, and chicken vindaloo, all the nan and most of the dal. My non- fish eating children ask to go here just for the Tandoori Sea Bass. It is a little expensive to take the whole family frequently- but definitely a great treat!

I was staying with a friend in the locale and went to LaGrange on the hunt for Indian food. Kama Bistro came up on Trip Advisor so I thought I would check it out. Instead of going for an entree I opted to choose the lamb burger from the lunch menu. While it was a good lamb burger, I didn't... More

Last minute Friday evening date with husband turned out to be fantastic due to our dinner at Kama! Staff was very helpful- Amanda was outstanding with her recommendations! Nice and simple menu with many delicious choices. Everything we tried was delicious! I drove past this restaurant many times before- was surprised how cozy-relaxed it was inside- v. nice decor. 😃... This place is fantastic. They expanded so there is more seating now. The food is wonderful. You're probably going to have leftovers, which I love. Ask for extra rice if you have leftovers or are doing carry out. Carry out portions are still big. They have an interesting drink list, including non-alcoholic beverages/juices. Price is right for what you're getting.... More

Very interesting and excellent fusion food, plus our waiter gave great advice and service. Very creative, excellent cocktails, too.

I don't have the chance to eat Indian food on a regular basis so when this was a choice for our dining I was ready. La Grange has a great line of restaurants on Burlington Ave and this is just one of many I have loved. Our server, Agnieszka, made the experience even better by her suggestions and information. She... More

This is a great new location for Kama Bistro and they made the right choice. Pleasantly pleased and surprised by the warm atmosphere and the delicious Indian fushion flavors. Must try the lamb tacos...it will definitley make you want to come back for more! Sat at the bar and had a cocktail and appetizer and learned more about the menu... More
