Description: Kama Bistro is named after the Indian cupid, the god of love and passion, symbolizing the aesthetic pleasure of the senses. Indulge your senses and experience the passion Kama brings to its food and service. This is not your ordinary Indian food. Kama Bistro’s menu puts an emphasis on fresh, high quality ingredients. Freshly ground spices go into sauces made from scratch every day. Homemade paneer (cottage cheese), all-natural chicken and prime domestic lamb make for superior protein. Everything is prepared to order to ensure its quality. The menu is rounded out with innovative cocktails, diverse wine and a select microbrew list to accompany your food. The martinis, including mango, cinnamon pleasure, pineapple and cucumber chili, are always made from fresh fruit purees and homemade syrups, all-natural and a perfect balance to spicy food.

This is a great new location for Kama Bistro and they made the right choice. Pleasantly pleased and surprised by the warm atmosphere and the delicious Indian fushion flavors. Must try the lamb tacos...it will definitley make you want to come back for more! Sat at the bar and had a cocktail and appetizer and learned more about the menu... More

Don't be fooled by the lack of web site or the Facebook page which suggests it is a vegan restaurant. This little jewel in La Grange is a big surprise. Sensational, creative Indian fusion which seems to mesh Malaysian and other wonderful tastes with the creative use of sea foods and other proteins. Everything we tried was well executed, fresh... The father of the owner is the source of some of the traditional recipes on the menu, but the owners of this innovative Indian restaurant in charming La Grange are wholly responsible for the creative and innovative take on Indian fusion food. Try the mussels and the lamb chops--they exceed any I've had anywhere. Andy, the waiter is fantastic! Ask... More

I love hot, my friend hates hot and we both loved the food. The waitress was a font of information and we both were totally pleased by her recommendations after she took our likes into account. Nice atmosphere, good wine, great food.

I dined here with family and grandchildren. After a long wait, my husband finally had to go find someone to take our drink orders. He had to find a server several more times during the meal! Our meals all came out at different times; several of us were finished before 2 in our party were even served. Food was only... More

I have never had Indian food before but my gf has. She rated it the best she ever had, I enjoyed it very much and the staff was so friendly and helpful to someone who has never tried Indian food before. I took the knowledgeable waitress' recommendations and I enjoyed it very much. My gf went for some very hot... More

Food: High quality ingredients with actual taste of Indian food. I tried the Goan fish curry and chicken biryani. Both were excellent and tasteful just as they came. No need to ask for less or extra hot! Ambiance: unlike the typical Indian restaurant with an overdose of art and a unnecessary traditionalism, Kama is a balance between modern and contemporary.... Being a newbie Indian food eater, I was clueless as to what to order. Our waitress Ally was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. I told her what I liked and didn't like and suggested dishes for me. Wow! I ordered the lamb samosas and lamb vindaloo extra spicy. So delicious! Also had the lamb tacos, just fabulous. I... More
