Kama Bistro is named after the Indian cupid, the god of love and passion, symbolizing the aesthetic pleasure of the senses. Indulge your senses and experience the passion Kama brings to its food and service. This is not your ordinary Indian food. Kama Bistro’s menu puts an emphasis on fresh, high quality ingredients. Freshly ground spices go into sauces made from scratch every day. Homemade paneer (cottage cheese), all-natural chicken and prime domestic lamb make for superior protein. Everything is prepared to order to ensure its quality. The menu is rounded out with innovative cocktails, diverse wine and a select microbrew list to accompany your food. The martinis, including mango, cinnamon pleasure, pineapple and cucumber chili, are always made from fresh fruit purees and homemade syrups, all-natural and a perfect balance to spicy food.

Good indian food

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here. They have a very nice wine and beer menu and the food is good quality. We liked the chicken tika masala and the nan. We will return when in the area.

The ambiance is good. Food is good n pricey. my experience was below average due to service. we ordered our veg entrees and my cousin ordered chicken dish , we finished our dinner but his chicken dish didn't arrive and had to remind them almost 5 times. I even had to ask for refill for glass of water twice. they... More

I've been to India -- this place is real indian food. Fabulous food -- made to order to your spice preference. Owners and hosts -- Vikrum and Agnes and extremely nice people -- the entire wait staff places extra care at making your dining experience very special. I don't go anywhere else for Indian food!!!

If Indian is your thing this should satisfy your palate. I enjoyed the selections we had but I might be inclined to give another choice a shot if I were in the neighbourhood looking for Indian again. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This is our favorite restaurant in Downtown La Grange. We eat there and take out. Menu has lots of good options, some favorites are the lamb vindaloo (but watch out, even half heat is HOT and we usually like spicy), vegetable jhalfrazee, and lamb roganjosh. Our kids love the chicken tikki masala. Food is fresh and not greasy.

I have been to Kama numerous times -- it is fabulous!! Everything is made to perfection, to your taste (spicy tolerance - low to high) and it is always incredibly fresh. Being from Chicago I have access to many Indian restaurants but Kama Bistro is always my first (and only) choice. I highly recommend it to everyone!!

So, this is sort of like an Indian Polish fusion I think. Its a little different from the buffets on Devon, but we LOVE it. I have never had a disappointing meal here. It is a bit pricey, so we can't go as often as we would like. Also, whenever we get takeout, they mess it up, so just dine... More

I am a vegetarian and really like this restaurant. The service has always been good and the atmosphere is nice. The only reason I give it a 4 is they tend to be very slow getting the food out. As long as you aren't in a hurry it's great!

Everyone was raving about this place, so my wife and I said we don't want to miss out. Well we could have skipped this place. It started with the soup, I found a sharp piece of plastic in the soup. I pointed this out to the waitress, she apologized. She then left and returned to say that she will take... More
