prasino means "green" in Greek. So, it is only natural that every choice we make, from our food to our restaurant design to our kitchen facilities, reflects our respect for a sustainable environment. Our priority is serving hormone/anti-biotic free meats, sustainable seafood, organic produce and eggs. Every effort is made to buy locally whenever possible, but we have also sought out exceptional ingredients from around the country from like-minded vendors. We are proud to present our Contemporary American menu in a refreshing, comfortable atmosphere that celebrates the love of good food, good conversation and friendship.

Good, not great... Nice atmosphere and pretty tasty food.

This restaurant has me a little bit in a quandary... It is clean, well located, and very well decorated. It has a really nice ambiance, and you get plenty of space to socialize. The menu is good and creative - Though I will say it is a confusing mix of Mediterranean, sushi, some Vietnamese... read more

I went to Prasino, for the first time, with my husband and two daughters (3 and 1 years old). We went, because it had gotten such great reviews in the past, and it was close to the zoo-where we were headed later. We arrived around 2:30 PM, and there was a decent amount of people in the restaurant. The decor... More

This was our second time at Prasino. The first time we had breakfast items. The plates were good so thought we would try again. I will say the service was very good. Crab cakes were good, burger was good. The chicken taco had to be the worst taco I have ever eaten. And the water, the tap water smelled liked... More

We went late on a Friday night, and the place was pretty empty. Service was good. Wine was good. Food was good, even very good. But, overall, the experience fell short of outstanding.

Went to Prasino for New Year's Day "brunch". Was not disappointed with the quality, but prices seemed a bit high. Had eggs benedict served on a buttery croissant with brie , spinach and ham that came with a side of cubed potatoes ($12). A small fresh fruit cup side was extra ($6). Coffee was excellent. Service was pleasant and for... More

If you have breakfast here, plan on not eating anything for the rest of the day. Fantastic food. Fresh squeezed orange juice, apple sausage, and skillets! Oh, the skillets. Not too crowded and not noisy (at least at breakfast). A great place to meet friends and share conversation. Breakfast is served until 2:30, so you can make it your lunch!

I love having a healthy and delicious restaurant like this nearby! Keep up the quality!!! Restaurant hours begin early morning for the healthy smoothies and breakfast. Fun place to go!

Prasino is my favorite place to eat in La Grange. The food is interesting and so flavorful and fresh. I always feel good after eating there. Last time I had a fresh corn taco with quinoa and black beans that was delicious accompanied by a white bean and herb salad that was so good my mouth is watering just thinking... More

I dined at Prasino - Lagrange on Friday evening with two friends. This is one of my new favorite restaurants. The ingredients are all locally sourced when possible and incredibly fresh. My favorite dish of the night was the lobster avocado. I had to stop myself from eating all of it! I also ordered the mussels, a side kale salad... More

We love Prasino. The food is always really good and they have a lot of gluten-free/vegan/vegetarian items. They're also fine with making substitutions and adjustments. The staff is always prompt. Brunch servings are huge! Our favorite flat bread is The Farm and the goat cheese/spinach omelet. Never feel guilty eating here, as it is so healthy and sources locally when... More
