Description: prasino means "green" in Greek. So, it is only natural that every choice we make, from our food to our restaurant design to our kitchen facilities, reflects our respect for a sustainable environment. Our priority is serving hormone/anti-biotic free meats, sustainable seafood, organic produce and eggs. Every effort is made to buy locally whenever possible, but we have also sought out exceptional ingredients from around the country from like-minded vendors. We are proud to present our Contemporary American menu in a refreshing, comfortable atmosphere that celebrates the love of good food, good conversation and friendship.

Prasino's is a very good option for those seeking clean, healthier food in a restaurant. The atmosphere is bright and modern. The service was attentive, explaining the menu options and even offering tastes to help us decide. The experience is a very enjoyable meal. There was something for everyone on the menu from meats to vegan options. We had to... More

The food at Prasino is a unique menu. The chefs creations are artistically inventive. Some of the menu choices are gleuten-free. The atmosphere is always inviting. The service is professional and informative. The drink menu is equally as creative. I really enjoy myself every time I visit!

I've been here twice, and both times I left feeling like I wasted my money. The last time I went, the hostess was incredibly rude, and the wait staff was not very reliable or attentive. My party waited almost an hour for four dishes, and it was not busy when we were in. We had to ask twice for water!... More

This is my second time visiting Prasino and was so excited to go back while visiting the area. The service was awesome, the food mouth watering. Great choice of Vegetarian and Vegan options too which is nice since a family member is Vegetarian. Breakfast and lunch options were great. I didn't have any wine, but there was a lengthy menu... The food is very well done. However, for the price there is better in the La Grange Area. And please include bread in your restaurant. My Husband will not go back because no bread was given. A small but annoying detail.

After watching Prasino on Check, Please TV show, I just had to make the drive up from NW Indiana to assess the food myself. I agree with other reviews that this is a peaceful restaurant which seems committed to a "greener environment" from the food to the "facilities." Per Check, Please we both ordered the Lobster stuffed Avocado as an... More

When Prasino opened a few years ago, it was my favorite La Grange restaurant. In my past year, I have really noticed an inconsistency in food quality and service. I was in a few weeks ago for Saurday weekend lunch and my child ordered a hot chocolate. After 15 minutes and not seeing our server, Alice, anywhere I finally flagged... More

I have enjoyed Prasino at lunch and dinner several times in the past year. Their menu is designed to please a broad range of tastes - organic, vegetarian, meat-eating adventurers and wine and cocktail lovers. The ambiance is understated, contemporary and elegant. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The price point is higher than some other restaurants in the area,... More

My wife, daughter, and I stopped here for breakfast on our way to Brookfield Zoo. While the price is a bit above average for breakfast, the quality of the ingredients as well as the dishes we tried more than made up for it. I enjoyed the Tacos Rancheros which blended a nice variety of flavors, and the Irish Skillet my... More

Only been here for breakfast. "Organic" menu, so a little weird, but good food and a really nice space.
