We stopped by for lunch on a Wednesday around 1pm, we were seated right away by a very nice young lady. I asked her what they were famous for as it was our first visit. She offered several suggestions. I ordered the 1/2 salad of sliced apples, dried cranberries and sugar walnuts on a bed of mix leaf salad and... More

Stopped in a couple of times during a weekend visit to Goods. First time just for drinks at the bar. Servers pretty friendly, but busy talking to other staff. Second time, for something to eat at 8:30 on Saturday nite. First thing we were told was they quit serving at 9 so we needed to order immediately. There were 4... More

When you think of bar food you usually visualize frozen pizza, burgers and wings. Well wife did a reunion party here and we had fresh baked pizzas and a variety of appetizers; including, cheddar cubes, battered onion rings and deep fried mushrooms. The food was excellent and the pricing was very reasonable. They actually have an extensive menu with traditional... More

This is a great place to visit. The atmosphere is like a step back in time and looks like they are expanding. The food was very good including the soup of the day. The menu has a very wide variety. I would have rated higher but the service was slow but our server was friendly. Overall I would return to... More

We go to Cernos frequently to eat. The service here is very good, as is the food. Always get the tenderloin and fries. Good pub food.

Has one of the most beautiful back bars any where and with a historic past. Great food for a bar. Lunches and dinners. Best to call for reservations for night time dinning.

Our Camping Club recently had dinner on a Thursday evening at Cerno's. The special on Thursdays is Tacos, a Taco Grande or Taco Salad in an edible shell, all either with beef or chicken. Some of us ordered the specials, and some ordered off the menu. All of us had generous portions, and were pleased with our meals. We would... More

We were there with spouse's family on a visit back to his home town. I loved the original fixtures - bar back, tin ceiling, octagonal tile floors, the old neon sign from when it was called "Ann's" etc. We had the walleye sandwich and fries and the chicken breast sandwich, soup of the day, and a tenderloin sandwich, all of... My wife and I dined twice at Cerno’s while on a three day visit to Kewanee, IL. It was recommended to us by our bed and breakfast hosts. Good suggestion. The menu is fairly comprehensive with daily specials. You will surely find something to satisfy your appetite A line of varying sized tables runs down one wall of the LONG... More

Located across from the Amtrak station in downtown Kewanee, Cerno's is one of those old-fashioned bars where you can get a well-mixed drink or handcrafted beer (20 pulls!) and a well-prepared dinner. The restaurant-quality menu features a wide variety of choices, not just your typical pub grub. Our server was very helpful and attentive, answering questions about menu items and... More
