Used to be good

I used to be a big fan of Shula's. I keep traveling to Itasca and have always enjoyed the steaks at Shula's. But I cannot say the same for my last experience there this month. I stayed at Westin, Itasca where Shula's is located. Ordered a steak over phone for a take out as they said they no... read more

I went to Shula's in November, 2014, to celebrate my birthday. We had gone there and enjoyed it many times before. This time was a great disappointment. The waiter was rude and in attentive. The steak, Cowboy cut bone in ribeye, was tough and tasted awful. We had been to Eddie Merlot's a few weeks before and there was no... More

A good place to eat, expensive though, you won't mistake this place for Denny's in food quality or price. Not for kids unless you are celebrating or borderline 1%. I'm not a Miami Dolphin fan either.

First off, there is not much around in the way of fine dining. If you stay in Westin, you'll probably go to Shula's. During daytime, they serve outstanding salads, appetizers, and burgers in a lovely bar in the lobby. We only had such fresh and tender greens in France. At night, they open this pricey restaurant: a glass of wine... More

Went with a friend for dinner, we were the only ones inside (as far as we could notice), I guess no one except hotel guests come here and the hotel was deserted on that night. We ordered steak, mixed grill (steak, fish, shrimp) and two sides (masher potatoes, fries) and it took over an hour before we were served the... More

Steaks, salmon and halibut were all excellent. Wedge and caesar salads were very good. Service was attentive.

I had a 12 oz filet here and it was very good. The truffle fries were a little disappointing but hey, you can't win them all. I also had a pretty decent wine there. It's a little overpriced but still worth a try

I expected better service & food from a place like this. The restaurant itself is ok but the service was scattered, disjointed, discombobulated at best. Maybe because 3-4 people served us. I've had this at other restaurants but here it just didn't flow. I also agree with another reviewer who said the football is cheesy. I agree! I know Don... More

Enjoyed their French Onion soup, great breakfast plates and also wonderful dinner with steak and some good Merlot. Good prices for excellent food, how can you go wrong with the Perfect Season?

The filet mignon was SO good, as well as the prime rib, potatoes gratin, the roasted asparagus, tomato/mozzarella salad. And then the chocolate lava cake with ice cream!! Wow! Our servers did an excellent job too...very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable!! We left there very full and had an excellent time!!
