We stopped by for a late dinner - literally 2 minutes before they were to close on a Friday night. They still allowed us to be seated. The service was a bit above average - everyone in our party really enjoyed their food. Upon leaving the manager gave each of our kids a free decorated cookie and thanked us personally... More

If you want great Jewish deli food, Max's is a stop for family, alone, or with friends. Their soups are delicious and their salads are huge. They have yummy omelets and all of the typical deli dishes like - blintzes, chopped liver, potato latkes and brisket. They also have a take out section with deli and bakery items. You can't... More

I met a friend here for lunch. We were seated immeditely. On our table was a bowl filled with sliced pickles, nice touch. We ordered our lunch. While eating our lunch the owner came over to our table and removed the bowl of pickles and replaced it with a small saucer with a few sliced pickles in it. When he... More

Jewish Deli with great selections. They must be very proud of their sandwiches as they are on the expensive side, but really good. The service counter has tons of items you'd love. Staff is a bit brash and the atmosphere is ordinary.

With the choice of many delis in our immediate area, I was rather taken aback by the price of sandwiches at the deli. Wait staff was nice and the atmosphere is okay for older folks, not the best selection with kids.

in a suburb brimming with delis, this is one of the best...quality and service are excellent, a bit pricey and you may have a long wait for a table if you're dining in.

The deli experience is not what it used to be. Max's is average for today. It has the usual traditional deli foods in a crowded noisy environment, which is part of the atmosphere I guess. Nothing is particularly special.

Just had supper with a big group (adults & kids) at Max's. Menu is so wide-ranging that we took a while to decide; server was attentive & patient -- especially with youngsters and juvenile adults. Sandwiches (corned beef & chopped live, CB and pastrami, pastrami and tongue) were tasty and GENEROUS. One in the group had chicken-in-the-pot. which was a... More

Max's Deli is a good and reliable deli, nothing special to write home about, but nothing missing from the menu and selections either.

I love the diverse menu at Max's. I have only one peeve and that is the staff is not always attentive. I've had to wait 20 minutes for a check to pay and can't catch the busy waitress to request additional food or service.
