Max's is a traditional deli with great sandwiches! Try their combination sandwiches along with potato pancakes! Also, you can purchase some great deli meats to go!

Had an omelette with cheese , mushrooms, and onions. It came with fruit and a bagel.. When the bagel came out dry I asked for some cream cheese and was told that would be an additional charge. I was a bit surprised by that but agreed. Food was ok but waitress had a bit of an attitude like she was... More

It's not that the food is bad, it is average. The cabbage soup is very good, very sweet. the corned beef and pastrami can be good or dry, it depends on the day. Service is good by people who have been around. bread is served immediately as are pickles on the table. After eating at the best in New York... More

I take my reviewing very seriously, and I never write a review based on one item. Until today. This afternoon I ordered something that I order everywhere and that I would've thought would be impossible to mess up, Nevertheless, Max's managed to charge me $4.50 for a fruit cup that consisted of one tiny grape, a piece of a strawberry,... I am planning to go there on friday, and looked online to read their menu as I am ordering for several people. Several items that i want to order the prices were not... More

Visited this Deli on 08/23/15. Staff – not good organized & trained. Food - so-so. Price – overpriced. Recommendations – no.

Max's is a great deli in the burbs north of Chicago. Very popular and always busy. Stop in for a bite or for take out. There are many items to choose from as well as many deserts. If you order a sandwich, I suggest a half as the sandwiches are large and loaded with meat. But it's only a couple... More

One of the few remaining Jewish Delis along with Max and Bennys. Typical delifare. Good salads. Great brisket sandwich. Big enough that 1/2 sandwich is more than enough. Pickles on the table.
