This was a recommended stop as we traveled to visit family. We did stop and found the experience to be delightful. The place is a small town gem. Everyone seemed to know everyone else and the table next to us ordered, "our usual" and the waitress nodded and moved on! Our food was good, but it is the pie that... More

For the area, the food is above average but not great (but you can't expect much more around here). Homemade pies are awesome though, with a huge selection! Friendly service. Family oriented. A much nicer location than their original.

We were touring a historical home in the town of Bloomington, and as we were leaving, the man in charge of the visitor center asked where we were headed next. He told us not to miss the Busy Corner. We only had pie and coffee, but while sitting at the bar enjoying our pie, we watched the kitchen staff placing... More

On business in the area and got off at the wrong exit!! Best mistake I made on the trip. Friendly service and wait until you see the pies. :-)

Visited around 2 p.m. on a Saturday for lunch. We enjoyed a cheery waitress who could have been a little more attentive, but was quite nice. Our table had fried perch, fried chicken, triple grilled cheese and a bowl of homemade beef vegetable soup. Those that had the fried items said they were done nicely and came to the table... More

We stopped here after dropping my niece at the Peoria airport for an eight o'clock flight. We had an outstanding breakfast with great service. I had the biscuits and gravy. Homemade biscuits with sausage gravy and I ordered a side of hash browns. To much food but it was awesome Better half had the country breakfast and had them top... More

Stopped at this random restaurant last weekend. The place was completely packed at lunchtime. The special of the day was walleye a first for me. It was delicious, the service was great, and the strawberry rhubarb pie was outstanding. If you fly into Peoria, and on your way to Urbanna, this is a great place to stop and have lunch.

Our family went for my husbands birthday. There feature for Sunday evening was prime rib, We arrive at 4:35 pm and they were out of the Prime Rib feature that was available after 4 pm. Three of the five in our party ordered rib eye steaks. When the meals were delivered to the table the meat smelled funny and tasted... More

Pork tenderloin sandwich gets a 10. Just enough breading, and spices, the thing is huge, and not a frozen patty. Fresh fries would have been better than the frozen ones. Didn't get dessert, and am sorry about that. The pies are fresh, with a large assortment. Next time I am in the area, will have dessert first, and get the... More
