Old school restaurant, family owned with a down home flavor. Portions are very good, food is excellent, and service is good. Every time I come to town, I make sure to frequent this place.

The service was very good. The waitresses were very attentive. Food was good. Portions a bit on the small side, however, and the alcoholic drinks were in small glasses and mostly ice.

We've been going to Johnny's since it opened and always enjoy going there. I also get to smell the awesome food every time I go to my friends house who lives right behind Johnny's.

My wife and I often frequent Johnny's. The food and service are always good and they often have specials that are very reasonable. My wife's Greek salad with salmon was excellent. My "Sloppy Salad," which comprised spicy fried chicken on a Greek salad was just fair -- I wasn't a fan of the seasonings they used on this dish. The... More

Good beers on tap, some local. After an initial hiccup, the service was great. Food good and decent value.

I have been to Johnny's a number of times, so I think it's fine, but I don't make a special trip to go. The food is good; the service just fair. It is nice that it's family owned and run. Wood roasted chicken is good, especially with the roasted pepper sauce. Ribs can be good or dry. Side salads very... More

We have been to Johnny's several time. The food is always consistently good. We started with the dynamite Shrimp which has good flavor not too spicy. My wife then had a small Caesar salad and I had the baked onion soup - both are very good. I love catfish and anytime I see it on a menu I give it... More

Food was great, service was pleasantly fast but the overall feeling was not rush rush. Atmosphere was wonderful, a little darkened and nicely quiet yet the room was populated with a pleasant crowd. This place was the perfect capper to a date-day my husband and I were having. We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit sharing a couple of drinks and... More

Johnny's Kitchen & Tap is a favorite amongst the locals. The portion sizes are always generous. I happen to love their Asiago garlic mashed potatoes and would go back if only just for that. Their Shrimp Dejonghe is very good too!

Joined friends at this neighborhood site that has been around for years. Being my first time I was interested in what they are known for...half slab of ribs. The ribs had great flavor but a bit tough. The mashed potatoes were yummy and the broccoli/carrot combo was very good. Had a taste of the Parm crusted tilapia and it was... More
