This cafe is just as good as Jolane's legacy. The place looks European, smells European and tastes European. The service is kind professional and quick. The quiche is exceptional and a great choice. I was told that the omelettes are generously full of good things with tasty house potatoes. The Wagyu blue cheese is something special you won't find everywhere.... More

So, you've spent the morning looking and shopping at Abt's and you have worked up quite an appetite. Jolane's is just down the mall on the same side as Abt's, so you won't have to go very far. The restaurant is very modern and there is even enclosed outdoor seating, much like a conservatory. Service was very good, even on... More

My husband I are locals and we jet out to Jolanes for a quick dinner during the week. We come back because our expectations of quality and courtesy are always met. On the last visit my husband had a filet mignon with a nice brown sauce. The filet was cooked perfect with a nicely seared and cartelized outside and very... More

We gathered for dessert and coffee, so I cannot tell you about the lunch menu, but the food looked great as it was being served. The desserts we ordered and devoured were mouth watering. The coffee was excellent. The place was packed at 2pm on a Sunday so that must tell you it is a favorite of the area. The... More

First time at Jolane's for lunch and it didn't disappoint. We walked in and were immediately tempted by the desserts (cakes, pastries, and cookies). Luckily, we had a reservation because the main dining room and the conservatory was pretty full for lunch. I ordered the Wagyu Bleu Cheese & Bacon burger, which came with fries, and it was more than... More

Always have had a great meal here. Nice atmosphere whether with business colleagues or alone. I really like the creative touches to the meal, like the grapes in the chicken salad, the freshly made breads and homemade chips. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and convenient to Abt Design Center. Have yet to enjoy a dessert there since I am always left full... More

Great place for lunch and dinner. Named after Grandma Abt. They have a wide ranging menu with a few traditional Austrian dishes thrown. I am confident almost everyone will find something they like.

This is the perfect lunch for a chilly gray day in the Chicago suburbs. Nice and hearty, with a subtle mix of flavors and textures. Now, that my tummy is full, do I have pumpkin pie special or the key lime?.... I swear I'm gonna marry the pastry chef.... really, I am, get that man out here so I can... More

This was the first time I went here. The inside of the place is clean, modern and maybe even a little hip. The service was outstanding: available, friendly and knew the menu. The menu was broad and offered some unique items. The wine list was adequate and had very reasonable pricing. My issue was with the entrees. They sounded better... More
