Nine family members, ages 1 - 60, visited Wildfire on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was completely full, bustling and therefore very noisy. The menu is extensive, with a "supper club" vibe, and the food is reliably good - great salads, good steaks, prime rib, seafood; generous, very tasty desserts. This is not "farm to table" or froo-froo in any... More

This is a go-to restaurant in Glenview for a nice lunch or a dinner with family. Gets crowded, so make a reservation. We enjoy the booths in the main room. Our favorite is when they have the duck special. Roasted vegetables are delicious, as is Caesar salad and cedar-planked salmon, which is a little aggressively priced.

Dinner at Wildfire is our family's Christmas Eve tradition. This year's celebration was a disappointment. The food was fine, as it always is. But the service was a letdown. The hostess who greeted us had absolutely no warmth. She was an expediter, that's all. Even a simple "Welcome to Wildfire" would have been nice. Our server was pleasant enough but... More

Filet was delicious, tender and seasoned perfectly. Baked potato and asparagus were tasty sides. Waiter was attentive and pleasant. Others had the filet -scallop combo and it was delicious. Will definitely return

A predictable menu and nicely balanced. My crb and corn bisque was excellent and the blue cheese hamburger special was nicely prepared and presented with an optional side of roasted vegetables. My wife had the beet salad and she found it nicely dressed and very tasty.

This is my third visit at the restaurant wherein a group of colleagues meet for lunch to celebrate business milestones. Valet parking is available but there is ample parking on the shopping area. Despite its formal setting, the service is friendly and quick since they are aware that their dining clients are on the short lunch break. During my latest... More

I look forward to going there whenever I'm in town for work. I especially like the filet trio. A nice plate of 3 filets with 3 different, or same, fixings. The drinks are good and the staff are great. Can't wait to go back.

I love the crusted filets at Wildfire. My husband has enjoyed the pork chops and my daughter loves the cedar plank salmon. We are never disappointed with our dinners. The dark raisin bread and onion bread are complimentary and very yummy. Lobster bisque is great start to your meal. The cocktail menu and wine flights are also very good. We... More

Business meeting - had been to other wildfire locations. Arrived before our other guests. They were out of dewers and the house wine was bad. Sat at dinner 5 of us. Crammed space with another table jammed into my back. Table was dirty and not from the dinners before us. Like for several days yuk! Caesar salad was a 4... More

This is one of the most reliable, tasty and affordable restaurants in the city. You can always enjoy wonderfully prepared meats, excellent bread, salads and other items on the menu. It is very crowded and noisy which is obviously result of its own popularity. If you expect to have a conversation with someone in a quiet place, go to another... More
