Excellent food, service, etc. Expensive but well worth it. A great dining experience. A definite repeat.

We had the fixed priced menu which was very good. Atmosphere was elegant. Would recommend this restaurant if you would like a very nice dinner in Glen Ellyn!

High Prices for the Portions which are served. Entree's generally look/sound good-but only on paper. What arrives at your table is generally not satisfying by any measure. Someone dropped a ton of $$$ on modern Decor; expanse is pretty in the Summer. Way too big for how many this place will serve going forward. Too large and too empty-if you're... More

Special cocktails, delicious food, artfuly dished, well served. And local and easy to park! What more could you ask for!

Had a very pleasant weeknight dinner with friends. We each had a different entrée and all loved what we had. Our waiter was very helpful and not reticent about sharing which dishes he liked best and some info about their jazz brunches. We are looking forward to returning to try other things on the menu that we found intriguing. We... More

What a great dining experience we had at Waterleaf in Glen Ellyn. Although it is connected to the College of DuPage Culinary school, the meals are prepared by professional chefs and service staff. The attention to detail was amazing and the food all tasted wonderful. It was a great find!

After only recently discovering Waterleaf, we have eaten there twice and consider it our favorite restaurant. Everything about it is outstanding. The wait staff are attentive but subdued. The decor is sleek, modern and spacious but still warm and intimate. The acoustics are perfect for a restaurant--quiet, but not too. The meals are simply out of this world--delicious, interesting and... More

There are a lot of great restaurants in Chicago but if you live in Du Page County you must suffer the torture of the Eisenhower Expressway to reach them. Waterleaf can compete with the best of the city and you can get there without a hassle and park free! We have been there several times and the food is consistently... More

The Waterleaf doubles as teaching restaurant and fancy restaurant. Went there a week ago for Sunday Brunch. The service rivals the top restaurants in Chicago. The food was excellent. We learned so much about the food and the prep as well as what the restaurant is all about. It is truly a wonderful thing to have such a high quality... More

We were without power thanks to a storm that had blown through and thought we would give Waterleaf a try. We will not wait for an act of nature to go back. They clearly make an effort to attend to the details that matter. The space is very pleasing, the food good and attractively presented, the staff professional and the... More
