The atmosphere was lovely, the patio was small & charming, we didn't sit outside, I wanted to, but the rest of the family did not. The food was quite good, and we will definitely go again. However, my son & I were still a bit hungry after the meal. While I don't want to fill up on a rolls &... More

We went to Foxfire with a Groupon last night. We read about the no alcohol exclusion that they apply, so we were not surprised. No worries, cost for two dinners easily exceeds the Groupon threshold. Service was professional. We were greeted warmly. Best part of the meal was the French martini. My husband had the prime rib. While we doubt... More

Sat outside which we loved even though the patio overlooks a parking lot(not the restaurant's fault). Server pleasant. Food was good. Had a salad with shrimp which was excellent. Coffee Gelato for dessert was great. The disappointment was that we had a Groupon and was advised that the groupon is not good towards alcohol. I am fine with that if... More

Odd layout--shotgun style space--so a grouping of tables in front by the bar (with 2 TVs), then about 5 booths flanking one wall (strangely opposite the servers beverage stand--odd, odd placement; we felt like we were in the servers space. They would congregate there, fold napkins at a station right behind the back of my seat, etc.--but it was low... More

Most nice/trendy restaurants in the St. Charles/Geneva area have their tables so close together that they don't lend themselves to conduct business in. Firefox is an exception. Their dining room is spacious. In addition it is very well appointed and not as noisy as you'd expect, even on a Friday night. Their New England Clam Chowder, Filet Mignon, Bernaise Sauce,... More

My significant other and I visited this restaurant on Friday, July 18th in celebration of my 50th birthday. Although neither of us had ever been to the restaurant before, we were THRILLED with our visit. He had the New York Strip Steak and said it was one of the best steaks he had ever had. I had the Prime Rib... More

I read reviews of this restaurant online and had never been there before. We were looking for a steak/seafood place in the Fox Valley area for a special occasion. All I can say is wow! The meal was fantastic. We had a large group and everyone had something completely different. The seafood was outstanding and the steak was equally outstanding.... More

We had a great dining experience at FoxFire. Starting with a wonderful take on Shrimp Dejonge (included a little bacon, what's not to like), a tender filet crusted with blue cheese, peppercorn filet bites, all nicely presented and very tasty. We did have one dish that was below par. The crab cakes were 99% filler, very little crab. The service... More

Good wine, Tuna, atmosphere and service. We didn't like the Baby Back ribs; the sauce was not very good. Filet was ordered medium rare and arrived to table well done......no red or pink. It was sent back and new filet was medium but tasty.
