Four of us went there on a Thursday night for a dinner and drinks. Came to Geneva from Chicago and after spending all afternoon shopping/browsing and walking through the beautiful downtown we asked locals where should we go for dinner. Villa Veronese came up several times so we decided to give it a try. The place was very charming, the... More

This is a hidden gem off the main street of downtown Geneva. It was an old stucco house with many rooms that adds to its charm. There is outdoor seating & a martini bar upstairs. I always get great service here & the food is delicious!

Went back to Villa Verone, after being disappointed a couple of years ago. I thought the food was very good and will be going back in the future. It is nice to sit outside in the summer.

The atmosphere looks very good but the dishes served are definitely not anything special. No flavor to the entrees, overcooked pasta and all with the same taste. Apart from the name on the menu, the dishes do not seem to be part of Italian cuisine. Good cheese cake. The service quite poor and rude.

Love the atmosphere. Love that it is privately owned. Love the homey feeling. Love sitting outside on the patio having a glass of wine. Food is great. Try the appetizer of eggplant with ricotta cheese with marinara sauce-even if you do not like egg plant or ricotta cheese(like me) . You will still love it--and it is healthy. Food is... More

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night with about 10 couples. Service was pretty good although the food took a long time to get. I had the tilapia special-it was pretty flavorless. My husband also had a special-veal, chicken, and sausage which he really enjoyed. Nice evening but very long.

The service we received was great. We sat outside on a beautiful night and the restaurants bug zappers did their work. No bites for anyone! The food was delicious and filling. No room for desert! They were very accommodating to our friend who can't eat gluten. She was told to order what she wanted and they would make it gluten... More

Worst Italian food I've had in the Chicagoland area, EVER. For starters, the fried calamari was rubbery and had a slight scent of ammonia. The bruschetta was uneventful. I didn't want to be the first to say, but it didn't take long before one member of our party said his drink tasted watered down. Everyone else concurred except for the... More

This restaurant is easily missed as it is not off the main road in Geneva. However, while set back from the curb, this restaurant offers excellent Italian food in a very beautiful and casual setting. On a nice, pleasant evening you can enjoy eating outside - or dine upstairs or downstairs - each room offers a very different environment from... More

Everything about this place was great!! The drinks were kept full, the bread was fresh and warm, the food was great and everything was modestly priced! Best of all was the atmosphere! Loved it!
