Quick drink

My wife and I stopped here for a drink while waiting to eat dinner at a local restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The beer selection was great. My wife ordered a root beer drink that was like "not you fathers rootbeer" and it was amazing. The owner... read more

I so want and have wanted to love this place. It gives a nod to Geneva's Swedish heritage, is located on the best corner of the city and was the first real brewpub in the area. Unfortunately, the beer is bad. Just bad. Every time I've come here over the past 8 years or so, the beer has had a... More

We sat out back on the covered patio - pleasant. We split a Tuscan chicken sandwich - which took way too long to get - that was really yummy! (chicken, feta, olive tapenade and roasted tomatoes - what a fantastic combo!). We both had the fresh brewed porter. It was disappointing for a craft brew--little too hoppy, no chocolate notes... Go for the soups. Skip the Swedish meatballs. Fries were good too. Make reservations on weekend nights as the place gets packed!

On a business dinner and we just wanted burgers and beer type of place. I had the seafood pasta with a diablo sauce that was very good and business partner had the roast beef sandwich which he said hit the spot. We both had several different beers trying to find our favorite this brewery made. Unfortunately we could not find... More

The burgers and lobster cob salad are on the top of the list of good food here. This is an old Geneva establishment that attracts the locals. Good service.

The décor has hints of Scandinavia, but Stockholm's -- in a town whose high school's teams are Vikings -- is essentially a pleasant little pub with a bit of ambition in its entrees. The Swedish meatballs are a lone concession to the name; its standouts are its house-made soups, notably the "loaded potato" and a creamy New England chowder. Salads... More

This is one of those places that you probably wouldn't try on a first visit to Geneva. From the outside it looks like a local bar. However the place is amazing. We have never had a bad meal there and the food is very much above average. The salads are great and the soups extremely good. The entrees are also... More

Of all the restaurants in Geneva this is my favorite. Small casual bar atmosphere with the best food around. If you are tired of chains and like great food in a neighborhood place Stockholms is for you. Go early for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.

The only problem I have with Stockholm's is it's size. The food is always good, but it's a wait to get a table. If you go when the weather is nice you can walk around while you wait. There are a lot of great stop to look in. Otherwise, you are limited to where you can stand and wait. Their... More
