Very good, inventive, but pricey

Although the decor has become less formal and the menu has changed from its previous French-inspired style, it is still a fine place to dine. Many years ago we gave up on Niche because the food just wasn't up to the price. Then we moved out of state for four years. We recently moved back, and last night we tried Niche for our anniversary. Many things have changed, but our favorite server, Jeffrey, is still there. It's certainly not equal to the old 302, but... More

This was our first visit to Niche. We went on Friday night, thankfully making a reservation. The service was excellent, knowledgable and we never felt rushed. Ask for Thuvi. She was excellent. The wine, beer and sprints menu was extensive. They even made a Sazerac. The menu was a bit limited, but the choices were unique and creative. Our meals... More

For many years we've visited Niche twice a year, when we stay at the Herrington. This is the first time we've been disappointed. The food didn't wow us and service was not at all up to par. It's a pricey restaurant, but we never minded because it was exceptional. We'll likely try it again at some point, but there are... More

We went to Niche recently for my birthday. We have been served by most of the other waiters, but were waited on by a different person this time. He asked if we had been to the restaurant before and if we were celebrating a special occasion. We told him we had been to Niche many times and we were celebrating... More

My wife and I were in Geneva for a weekend and went here for dinner. The restaurant is well appointed and the service was fantastic. I was immediately struck by the extensive beer list and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't call myself a beer snob, but their selection was amazing. For dinner we had the trout and the special sous... More

I have never been to a restaurant in the suburbs with such a vast drink list. They have a variety of scotches and carry many Three Floyds beers and other craft beers. The menu is somewhat ordinary food prepared extraordinarily. The burrata salad is to die for. I'm often less than impressed with the dessert menu, but I don't try... More

This is one great restaurant .The service courteous and knowledgeable in the menu choices and the HUGE selection of wine beers and Whiskys .Food is great and menu is always changing to avoid being just another restaurant Dark wood interior is very inviting on a snowy cold nite Great all around. Some may complain regarding the prices but it`s worth... More

The service is outstanding! Both the hostess and waitress were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food is wonderful. However, the price point is quite high. And nothing comes with the meal. At those prices, they could throw in a vegetable or potato or rice. That part is always disappointing. A special occasion place.
