Best alcohol selection

I have never been to a restaurant in the suburbs with such a vast drink list. They have a variety of scotches and carry many Three Floyds beers and other craft beers. The menu is somewhat ordinary food prepared extraordinarily. The burrata salad is to die for. I'm often less than impressed with... read more

We went to Niche recently for my birthday. We have been served by most of the other waiters, but were waited on by a different person this time. He asked if we had been to the restaurant before and if we were celebrating a special occasion. We told him we had been to Niche many times and we were celebrating... More

My wife and I were in Geneva for a weekend and went here for dinner. The restaurant is well appointed and the service was fantastic. I was immediately struck by the extensive beer list and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't call myself a beer snob, but their selection was amazing. For dinner we had the trout and the special sous... More

This is one great restaurant .The service courteous and knowledgeable in the menu choices and the HUGE selection of wine beers and Whiskys .Food is great and menu is always changing to avoid being just another restaurant Dark wood interior is very inviting on a snowy cold nite Great all around. Some may complain regarding the prices but it`s worth... More

The service is outstanding! Both the hostess and waitress were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food is wonderful. However, the price point is quite high. And nothing comes with the meal. At those prices, they could throw in a vegetable or potato or rice. That part is always disappointing. A special occasion place.

I went on a Wednesday night with my wife for an anniversary dinner. We'd been years here before when it was white table cloth special occasion kind of place. It was excellent at that time so I read with a little trepidation of the changes in decor and kitchen staff. I needn't worry. The dining room while decidedly far more... More

My husband and I come here at least once a week. The food is excellent and the ambiance beautiful. The staff are friendly and they know their stuff. We've enjoyed everything we've ever ordered, but our favorites are the charcuterie plate and the steam buns...outrageous. Highly recommend Niche.

Amazing atmosphere. Superb service. Outstanding food. Amazing drinks/wine list (Manhattan is off the charts delicious) One of the top restaurants in the Midwest if not THE BEST in the Midwest. I'm an old fan of 302 West but I actually think Niche has surpassed 302. Talk about a tall order. Love this place. Can't say enough about it.

This is an amazing find. This is right up there with the best downtown Chicago restaurants! The food was amazing, highly recommend the Gougéres and the Pork Shank. The table next to us ordered the Lamb Chops...and I came close to ordering a second entree! Looked amazing. Overall, great food. Wasn't crazy about the coffee/cappuccino, but that is by no... More
