The chef came over to talk to us and explained the squash soup to us. We were telling the server how much we had enjoyed it and wondered what was in it that made it so good. A very friendly place that is rather small in front but has a great back room that holds a lot more people. We... More

The exterior of this restaurant is very nice but it certainly didn't indicate to me that the food was the main star! I truly expected to see run of the mill pub fare on the menu. What a pleasant surprise to see how creative and knowledgeable the chef is. The combination of flavors and textures is amazing. The food is... More

A friend of mine recommended this restaurant and he was right on the money. From the soup to the mushroom tart and the pine nut tart, everything was flavorful and inventive. The combination of strawberries and basil with the pint nut tart was perfect. I loved the presentation of all of the plates. The building is somewhat small but almost... More

Nice wine selection, but the food menu is somewhat limited. Wednesday offers specials on wine and flatbread pizzas. Very nice outdoor patio in the back is an excellent addition.

I've been to Preservation on multiple occasions and had great food and service every time. They do an excellent job pairing the wines and cheese. The restaurant is small, but that is partly why I like it. I think the chef pays special attention to each dish and the combination of flavors is great. There is always a new addition... More

Food was very good. Different than most restaurants. Service excellent. More casual than we expected.

We had been here once before, on a cold night passing by on the way to another restaurant for dinner. We jammed in to the bar for a drink, but were disappointed we had to leave. This time we went for a late lunch and enjoyed the back patio we didn't know was there. The patio is very well done... More

Cute wine bar. Delicious lunch menu. Fresh breads, smoke their own meats, artisan cheeses and great wine. They have a lunch special for $10 soup and sandwich. The best turkey sandwich that I have ever had. It's rather small- about a dozen tables in the main room but they have a seasonal patio that's a lot of fun. Downtown Geneva-... More

Just go there. You'll love it. The wine, the cheese boards, the bread... it's got it all. And a fabulous outdoor patio to boot.
