Has an old world feel to the atomsphere

The food was delicious, but it was very dark in the restaurant. We actually had a little trouble seeing each other. But again the food and the service was very good. Would definitely go back there again.

Whenever in Geneva, IL we always have at least one meal at Claddagh Irish pub. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is good, often live music at one end of the restaurant and sports on TV's around other areas. The fish and chips are great, the shephards pie is hardy. Good selection of beers and hard ciders. Our first visit... More

We enjoy eating and drinking at Claddagh on our annual visits to the St. Charles, IL area. In our opinion, they have the best beer selection in the area!

Some of the best prep food using the freshest ingredients and 90+ of the menu is created on location from the first teaspoon! The staff from the front to the back of the house are amazing at their own individual skills and position! Irish food at it's best :-) ***Personal Disclosure,(strike the check marked box(only agreement was to submit this... More

The pub was rather empty for a Tuesday evening. The beer choices were great, with Irish beers on tap. The wine list was more limited. I tried the house cab, while my partner ordered a Guinness. The wine tasted like last year's leftovers, while the Guinness was find, but not up to the standards of Ireland. We ordered Irish stew... More

The outdoor patio is beautiful and overlooks the the pond. The Monte Cristo sandwich is the best I've ever had! The service was excellent. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely go back.

Clean, spacious, laid back venue. The cheese tray was delightful and delicious (contained more items than was listed on menu) as well as abundant (enough to take home if also having a meal). Located in a huge shopping complex off a very busy roadway with lots of other huge shopping complexes, it was a challenge to find (even with GPS... More

Worst food in a restaurant we have ever had. Long strand of hairs in the potatoes and all of the food was cold. Roast beef on charged ends was so rare there is no way the meat was cooked to temperature. The desserts small individual pies and cakes were either liquidy or falling apart. The hot fudge was like brown... More

Went there on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Wife had a chicken / noodle combination, son had a hamburger and I had the meatloaf with peppercorn sauce. Food was good. I also had the hot chocolate with their homemade whipped cream. So good. I agree, the bathrooms need attention, but the rest of the restaurant is fine Enjoy ....

This place use to be good, but within the last couple of years it has gone down hill. I took my boyfriend here and this was his first time at this restaurant. He's a chef and really picky about Irish food. I assured him this place is good, and I turned out looking dumb at the end. We were put... More
