An absolute gem.

Popped in here on a whim and wasn't disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and really seemed to take pleasure in describing the dishes and specials. We received several generous gift cards to the Landmark Cafe from close friends. Because of this, we came here several times. Every time we came here we received horrible service. We wanted to like this place; however, we always left with a sour taste in our mouth. Either the owner or the manager is to be blamed for this. To... More

We stopped for a quick lunch while passing through town. This is a very quaint little place with lots to look at. The coffee was very good if you are into flavored coffees. I had a panini. It was really just some packaged cold cuts on grilled bread. It was just OK. Chips were out of a bag and not... More

Visiting Galesburg (out of towners) we came for lunch with friends and family. The service was slow and the wait for our food took forever. I ordered quiche and soup of the day. When it finally came, the soup was cold and the Quiche tasted like rubber. You could thump the cheese on top with your thumb! The crust was... More

The spinach bisque is to die for. I do not know their recipe and several people have tried to duplicate it but you cannot do it. Get a cup or a bowl and a salad and you are ready for the day. This is a very noisy place but if you do not need to have a deep conversation this... More

The Landmark has a great variety of food if you are not a crepe lover (I am) I have never had a bad meal there and I have been going to the Landmark since the 70's

A quaint and special culinary spot in Galesburg know for their spinach bisque and both savory and desert crepes. I have visited this restaurant many time for both lunch and dinner as well as the incredible Sunday brunch which is the best in town. The waiters and waitresses always are spot on with the service and the food is to... More

I worked with a traveling band that sometimes played at Tooties in Galesburg long ago, around `77 and `78. We always loved the people in Galesburg, and I especially remember coming to this restaurant in the afternoons for an early dinner, and having the crepes and especially the quiche. I had never had quiche before, and I've never had any... More

The Landmark Cafe has been around for a very long time; it is one of the mainstays of the Galesburg culinary community. The food is always outstanding and the atmosphere is cultured. The bisque and crapes are a must but the roast garlic appetizer is worth a try and homemade cherry cola! The owner Phil is wonderful and even after... More
