I wish they had fajita's, but they don't. If you want a taco that doesn't taste like salt, this is the place for you. They have been in business for years and have a great customer base. This establishment has been a family owned operation for many years. Very loyal following with some of the best Mexican food you'll find "either side of the border". The Friday afternoon lunch is a great time to get away and kick start your weekend! John and his staff work really hard to have prompt service in a friendly and clean... More

The location is horrible and scary. The Mexican food is a joke. I live in San Diego, and their food is not even close to the Mexican food that can be found in Southern or Baja California. Go to Pizza House or Coney Island.

I love the Hide Out. The food, the staff and the price....We have went there for some of our special occasions including our anniversary as I love the food. The atmosphere is very casual and sometimes you have to wait for a seat, but the service is great and the food comes out fast. Where else can 2 people eat... More

food is average although a bit too greasy for my taste. We do get take out from there and its fine. The location is poor and the venue is old and needs remodeled and cleaned up.

The food at the Taco Hideout has been cheap and decent for many years. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, it may not fit your bill. However, they use real beef and you can get your fill without breaking your pocket book. Even though many people do eat there in the evening, I recommend not going there after... More
