Have been eating this food since i was old enough and my parents were bringing it home. As everyone else has said the bread and sandwiches are amazing! I used to get a loaf of fresh bread just to nibble on. Pasta sauce has a unique and amazing flavor and everything is always fresh and hot. Sharky and his family... More

This is the best spaghetti around, the meatballs are just like homemade. I have been coming to La Gondola's for over 20 years. You will never find garlic bread this good at places like pizza hut, those chain restaurants spend more money on the atmosphere than providing great food. Love the drive thru on rainy and cold days.

I eat occasionally here. The pasta is very good and I really love the sweet garlic bread. I got off work at 8:30 last night,August 15th and headed right over there (drove past Competitor) and it was 8:40. They close at 9:00. I went in HUNGRY and after standing there 5 minutes another customer came in the other side of... More

Not open Sundays, never will be and I respect that. Family owned and long time employees who care. I like all their food and eat it often. Accomadates from carry out, drive thru, or charter bus full of college kids. Not a huge dining room, not especially beautiful but always clean and gets high scores on the important health department... More

Nice home style food. It is all italian and subs but good size portions and always good tasting. The pasta is all red sauces no white is the only downfall. The bread served is a sweet bread and yummy. It is a come as you are place, but I usually do carry out. They have a drive up but you... More

This place is neither great or horrible. Good amount of food for the money, if you don't mind spending money on something as cheap to make as spaghetti. The service is good and so are the subs. (Nothing fancy!) No drive through.

I don't go to Galesburg without makig a stop at La Gondola. Their sandwiches are incredible. The subs (known as "Torpedos") are made with homemade, slightly sweet bread. I would highly recommend adding the garlic bread (two lonnnng slices placed together) and cinnamon bread (same bread but with butter, cinnamon, and sugar) to the order. The spaghetti is good, too,... I love La Gondola because they have really tasty italian-style food ready to go. The Family Feast is under $20 and feeds your family with a big bucket of spaghetti, garlic bread (it is delicious...it's sweet!), and a 'torpedo' sub. My kids and husband get so excited when they realize that it's "La Gondola" night. I'm happy that it is... More
