Fun for live entertainment!

My husband and I stopped in on our way back to our villa after eating downtown. The live musician was WONDERFUL (her small talk was terrible but her musicality was superior). We enjoyed sitting at the bar and listening to her play. Will definitely return next time we are in town.

We had dinner here. Enjoyed the ambiance and the food was awesome. Had the salmon which was excellent and a Jolly Jacko libation! The free hot breakfast included with a stay is outstanding!

Great place for a drink and pub dinner, and hopefully a show. They layout of the pub is just great: stage at one end, large windows with view of woods at the rear, a long bar, and a cool "snug" room for 4 - 8 people and private access to the bar.

We ate at Frank O'Dowd's on a Saturday night. It was very busy but we were seated promptly. The waitress was prompt with drinks. The food was out quickly and she checked on is frequently. The portions were huge. My husband had the New York strip and I had the fish and chips. Both were excellent. The bar, woodwork and... More

I just love this place! The servers are fantastic, the décor is such that you feel as though you are really in a pub in Ireland. There is weekend entertainment (Irish dancers, musicians and the like...). The food is good. The bathrooms need to be a bit cleaner (but that won't stop me from frequenting this restaurant). A great place... More

Lovely decor - really feel like you're in an Irish pub! They had three little Irish dancers that entertained (and passed around a bucket for donations), and a really funny stand up guy on the mike afterward that we really enjoyed. The food, however, was just ok and overpriced.

While staying at the Irish Cottage for a wedding we took advantage of the Pub on three separate occasions during a long weekend. Great experience. Seating options vary from stools at the bar, tables for two and tables able to accommodate larger groups. On all three occasions we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and served quickly. The whisky selection,... More

The food was a blend of Gaelic and traditional. They have a traditional Shepherd’s Pie made with Irish bistro gravy, fish and chips and of course, corned beef. For starters they offer a popular Galena appetizer cheese curds - deep fried cheese with ranch dressing. A stand-alone appetizer is the Irish nachos – a huge plate of corned beef, Swiss... More
