Numerous restaurants in Galena offer steaks and seafood. However, this restaurant's chef is the best and be it a regular menu item or one of their daily specials you will not be disappointed. Great service, excellent deserts.

This is a special occasion restaurant. It is on the small side and rather intimate. One definitely needs reservations. They are only open for dinner and not necessarily every night. My husband and I chose the specials last night. I had the "St. Lucia" seafood special and my husband had the lamb steak with sausage special. Both excellent choices. We... More

I dined at this restaurant with friends for a special celebration and it did not disappoint. I had the St. Lucia special that was comprised of seafood over rice with a curry sauce. I enjoyed it very much although I thought the spicy sauce somewhat overwhelmed the delicate flavors of the seafood My friend's pork chop was large and tender.... More

Food was mediocre if not poor; on a sat night we were one of 4 couples so the feeling must have been shared

Ate here our first night in galena.....service was excellent even if a little slow. Food was fabulous! 5 Texas 'girls' on a girlfriend getaway and we all voted this our best meal on the trip! Staff and chef all very friendly. We all shared the chocolate mousse dessert and it was to die for!!

When we first walked into the restaurant, it looked a little dilapidated, and it was really a bit too chilly, but we were warmly welcomed and shown to a corner table that overlooked the main street. It's also not much to look at from the outside, and it's very strange that some of the photos that feature/describe the restaurant show... More

Wonderful meal and service, though the decor/carpet could use an update. Try the crab cakes--they're delicious!

Another trip to Galena means another excuse to go to Perry Street Brasserie...or do I have that backward? When I suggested to my wife we make the short trip to Galena once again, I knew the smile on her face was because of this restaurant. It is that special. How did it become so special? Well, you won't find them... More

We had dinner at Perry Street Brasserie yesterday night and it was simply great. The restaurant was small but cozy. The waitress, Heather, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to meet Chef Stephen Dowe and had a great conversation. His food was exceptional. I had the St. Lucia special which was lobster tail, scallops, and prawns with a... More

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Galena. They always have a great menu, with beautiful deserts if you can save enough room for it at the end of the meal. Their hummus is to die for, best hummus I've ever had. Never had anything but a great meal here and I've been here too many times... More
