Great food. service could have been better.

Had dinner at the finest (and most expensive) restaurant in Galena. The food was excellent. Loved the seasoned oil into which we dipped the bread. Dessert served in a large chocolate ball was fabulous but serves 3-4 people. For the price the service was marginal. Did not get the bread for 15... read more

Like others, we picked Perry Street based on other TA reviews, and they pretty well capture the place. The food is quite good -- our lamb and duck entrees were spot on, nice pairing of meat, sausage and veggies, and everything had tons of flavor. Be forewarned about the chocolate cup dessert -- it's a mountain of chocolate shell, chocolate... More

We chose PSB based on reviews at Trip Advisor and so very glad we did. We had a lovely table by the front window, and attentive but not intrusive server. We both had the Kobe beef ribeye special and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. Our mixed green salads and in house made dressing were flavorful and crisp. While... More

I found the restaurant on TripAdvisor and my husband said well okay but it looks kind of expensive. Well, let's just say we got more than what we paid for. By the time we left he stated that was the "best" meal he has ever had. We had an adorable table by the window in this cute small restaurant. The... More

Best food in galena. The flavor combinations are out standing and unexpected. The chef came out and spent time with us after our meal. He was extremely easy to talk to and offers up his recipes. What a fantastic place. You must go.

6 people in my party visited Perry Strret. very nice quaint, restaurant. Not very busy during our visit. We were seated quickly at a comfortable table. The owner/chef came to our table and thoroughly explained each dish. This man has passion for quality and the food He serves. 5 out of 6 of our party order St. Lucia. A seafood... More

It's fantastic! This is our go to place for every one of our wedding anniversary dinners. They take pride in the food they serve and use top shelf ingredients. We don't splurge often, but when we do we go to Perry Street. A few years ago my husband got a Kobe steak, it was the best he ever had. Most... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Galena. . I love the ambiance for a romantic meal with my husband. The service is great, the staff is friendly, and of course the food is fantastic. When we make plans to visit Galena, the first thing we do is make a reservation for this spot.

It's a shame the owner/chef says he is retiring because this is hands down the best restaurant in Galena. An American style bistro with some French feel but a British chef. Yummy Wahoo and mussels, very good light curry with scallops and shrimp. This food could stand up in Chicago.

Food is tasty. Service was off last night but she was super nice so we just found it funny. We all had seafood curry and enjoyed it. Desserts all sounded amazing but we were too full. We will come back next time in Galena
