The Walleye was prepared extremely well. The atmosphere, wine and service complimented the meal. Might have it again when we return.

The food was ok. I expected more for the prices they charged. The bread was the only thing that was above average. On a positive note, you can bring a bottle of your own wine for a $10 corking fee.

The food is just very average and it is overpriced. We have not had good experiences at this restaurant and probably will not return.

Our service was excellent. They didn't rush you through your meal. Best shrimp I've had in a long time. Couldn't stop raving about it to friends when I got home.

We had a very enjoyable New Years Eve meal at Fried Green Tomatoes. Bread and salad were average, but entrees and dessert were very good. Very friendly staff and other guests. We would definitely go back.

My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times previously and as always we were pleased with the food and service. My wife had lasagna and I had filet mignon with sauteed shrimp. The steak was very tender and flavorful and the shrimp were cooked well... wife liked hers as well. The house salads were also good. It... More

Although some of us have memories of how wonderful this restaurant was when it was out in the country, the current location seems to be improving. It's not quite as cramped and noisy as it was when they first moved and the food quality has been improving. I usually try the specialty ravioli or pasta that they offer on the... More

The sea bass and the rib eye steak were exceptional. Service couldn't be better. We have never had anything but great meals at Fried Green Tomatoes. Highly recommend it. Sam & Sue D

We love eating here. Fred is amazing and his staff is top notch. Kimberly and Lisa always take such good care of us. The sea bass is as good as you will get anywhere and my husband loves the pecan encrusted walleye. The wine list is very good. The restaurant itself is very attractive and reflective of Galena.

My husband and I had dinner there the night before Thanksgiving. Since we're not fans of the traditional turkey dinner buffet, we had our nicer meal on the day when everything was open and then just had a comfortable pub meal at one of the very few open places on Thursday. We discovered on our first trip there that, despite... More
