Betty Crocker Mexican

I've been to Los Aztecas four times now. It's a nice restaurant space with a dining room and a full bar. On Wednesdays, there are $2.50 margaritas. Service is very quick, and the staff is delightfully friendly. But the food? It's bland, Midwest/ Velveeta/ Betty Crocker Mexican. In all fairness, I... read more

Love the food! Azteca’s Mixed Vegetables is the best meal on the menu. We travel 3 hours to have dinner here, while staying at Stoney Creek.

I wasn't feeling the Mexican vibe -- Not sure I felt it was very authentic, but the owner was a sweetheart and the food was perfectly edible. Just not sure it was worth the price.

If you like extra spice with your chips, food, etc., this would be a good place for you. Lots of items on the menu. Table chips tasted stale and old. Two of us had enchiladas (one beef and one shrimp). The red sauce had a somewhat strong vinegar taste. Prices were reasonable, but I've had terrific Mexican food for the... More

While staying at nearby Stoney Creek Lodge we walked here for an easy dinner. Other than good, hot, homemade salsa, it's like no thought went into making the food special or memorable. Super bland guacamole. Skimpy servings of Pico and guac with fajitas. Nice servers and reasonable prices. Check Trip Advisor for better eating options!

We had quesadillas with shrimp, chicken and beef. Our meals were delivered to our table within 7 minutes of ordering. The refried beans were the best we have ever eaten. And the service was thorough and friendly.

We were looking for a place to eat after attending a play that went longer than we thought it would... everything downtown was no longer serving food (after 10 pm), so we found this place and glad we did. We enjoyed tacos, chalupas, and quesadillas - all very good in addition to perfecto margaritas. Topped off with fried ice cream... More
