Nice little restaurant across the river. One of those places you don't want to tell anyone about because you always want to be able to get a seat when you visit. Good food, good prices, good atmosphere.

We have dined at Otto's many times on our visits to Galena. He have come for dinner, for brunch, with kids and without kids. This recent trip it was just my husband and I and we made it to Otto's around 1 pm for a late brunch/lunch. My husband had the omelette special and I had the dinner special (turkey... More

Yum. The food here was delicious. The staff was friendly and engaging. The story behind the building and restaurant was inspirational. Enjoy the breakfast and the inspiration! I'd highly recommend paying Otto's a visit when you're in Galena!

Cute place in an old building just across the river from Main Street. We ate upstairs, with a nice view of downtown. Our food was very good - the quiche was rich & creamy, eggs benedict had a special twist - and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Prices were quite reasonable and portions were generous. It looks like they... More

We just visited this past Saturday night. Everybody in town knows to go to Otto’s for breakfast and lunch…..As locals, we usually stay away from the tourist crowds on the weekends, but when we have out of town guests, the only place we go for dinner is Otto’s. Our friend is from the Chicago area and commented that his chicken... More

Our second visit to Otto's was as good as the first. It has become our breakfast stop before returning home! I think its time to try lunch or dinner! Very friendly staff!

Wife and I visited for our 29th anniversary for breakfast based on past reviews. You can take those reviews to the bank. The restaurant was cozy, comfortable and welcoming. We dined upstairs (which I would recommend) and had a delicious breakfast. Wife had a gorganzola based omellete from the daily special menu and I had the quiche special. Both were... More

Visited Otto's Place on a Monday morning for breakfast. I liked that it was away from the main drag in Galena. It is a cute little restaurant with great history, story was printed out and on the table. Our waitress was very kind. Staff recognized locals when the walked in and greeted them, something I love to see. We started... More

Went to the visitors center across the street and decided to have lunch. They had a great Sunday brunch. I had quiche , coffee cake and a Bloody Mary. $20 for two of us. They have a busy Sunday business and felt a bit cramped . Once people started to leave it felt roomy. Would stop here again.
