Enjoyed breakfast here on recommendation of our Inn. It was a lovely walk up the steps to the walking bridge and over the river to the residential area on the other side of Main St so no crowds milling about. Bonus- on the way we discovered a lovely park- Grant Park. Food is locally sourced, house made and delicious. We... More

We have enjoyed breakfast here a few times. Off the main drag from main street, but still very convenient. Great decor, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. The quiche is hands down the best around, homemade coffee cake quite yummy and steel cut oatmeal with fruit and nuts is delicious. Prices are unbelievably reasonable. Highly recommended!

We literally stumbled upon this gem! Had a wonderful lunch & our group tried many of the sandwiches-enjoyed them all! Food was locally grown & delicious, also was very reasonably priced. A must visit on your trip to Galena.

Absolutely fell in love with this restaurant. Dinner menu on the weekends changes which I love. Atmosphere is great although they need to play a little music. Ashley, our server, was wonderful and Jacob, the chef, truly talented. Two of us ordered the short ribs with a bleu cheese potato dish that was quite yummy and my husband ordered the... More

This restaurant is on the opposite side of the river from the historic downtown but it is worth it to find this small restaurant. We had a very enjoyable lunch from a rather small menu of rather unusual options.

This restaurant is well worth the 15 minutes we had to wait in line to be seated over the fourth of July weekend. The breakfast menu was very extensive with so many varied choices it was hard to decide. I ordered 1 slice of banana bread with a side of sweet potato hash and it was spectacular! Service was fast,... More

After reading outstanding reviews, decided to give this place a try for lunch. Came though town on a Tuesday and stopped. Closed on Tuesdays, FYI. Went back on Thursday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Menu is small, but I consider that a good thing...they do only a few things, but do them just right. Also, people working in businesses... More
