Best Mexican in town

Nice little place, and I mean little! They do have some outdoor seating which helps, but make reservations if you can as they fill up fast! Their food is fresh, not the usual "freezer to microwave" mexican, and drinks are good too!

Had a great meal! The chunky guacamole was excellent, as were the salsa and chips. My huevos con chorizo was wonderful, and the hot tortillas tasted as good or better than any I've had in San Antonio over the past 50 years. Loved it.

We stopped here on our way out because we love a good margarita. The staff was extremely friendly which made it a great experience. The food was average. Margaritas were good, strong but not the best but we are very picky. We would try it again.

Delicious food. My meal was better than at most Mexican restaurants. My friends said that they also enjoyed their meals. Clean, cheery decorations/atmosphere. The musician (keyboard and singing) was fun and not too loud. We could still easily have our conversation. Attentive, quick service. They handled our large group (7 kids plus 3 adults) right away and very well. I... More

Margaritas so good you hardly feel them go down. We had the cochinita pibil it was tender and the sauce just perfect. Dessert I tried the flan and was in heaven. My husband had fried ice cream and lived it. It will be our first stop on every chance we get to go to Galena. Can't wait :-)

The menu offers authentic choices, no taco plates here. The food is very good, and you get a lot. The inside serving area is a bit cramped, but that adds to the overall experience. I would say stop by if you are in Galena and want Mexican food.

The food was good here. The chimichanga was really good and so were the quesadillas. The beef nachos were also very good.

We stopped for lunch while in town for the weekend. The prices appear high but there is a lot of food that comes with their main dishes. The server was helpful in steering us towards the a la carte menu and creating a smaller meal for less money. I enjoyed my fajitas but felt they were cooked in more oil... More

(Girls weekend) we ate here for lunch...my friends had eaten here before and were craving the chunky guacamole. They said it was as good as they remembered! The margaritas were great (and strong)! The service was a little slow, especially considering there was only one other table seated but overall the food was tasty ad we would return.
