We needed a little snack and a beverage and just stopped by on a Thursday at 5pm. The place was completely dead. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and the quesadilla both of which were much better than standard bar food. The beers me and the girlfriend had were good. Waitstaff was fine.

We stopped by Galena Brewing Company just out of curiosity......and fell in love with their micro beers. Tried a couple samples first then had the Uly's Stout and Miners treasure. Both are excellent beers (I prefer amber or dark beers). I've never had a smoother stout Than Uly's.

If you are going for the beers produced in-house, you will enjoy the quality and variety they offer. They have a list of seasonal and a list of their flagship brews. If you are going for the food, keep looking. The place was clean and roomy. The food and service were minimal.

We stopped here for lunch and to take the brewery tour. We were there on a quiet Friday afternoon so plenty of tables to pick from with no waiting

A definite “must do” while in Galena! I recommend a visit to The Galena Brewing Company to anyone looking for a great selection of tasty beverages, a fun & hip environment, some of the best live music & awesome friendly staff. They have a nice assortment of Tapas & Fresh Sandwiches as well as some of the best homemade desserts....
