I order the scones every time I go to the tea room. They are buttery and fabulous, especially paired with clotted cream and raspberry jam. My favorite tea is white ginger peach, which of Octavia's 86 flavors, is ranked #1. Somehow tea tastes better in the tea shop than at home. Must be the cozy traditional atmosphere. Cindy, the owner,... More

The tea room has a lot of antiques and it fits right in with the other shops in downtown Frankfort. The food is OK but I think a bit pricey. My husband and I brought our granddaughters there for a special treat and they enjoyed it. What I did not enjoy was after telling our waitress that we didn't like... More

I had the perfect little lunch! Pot of tea, finger sandwiches, orange scone with real clotted cream, homemade cookies and a mini cupcake. Everything was fresh and top quality and homemade. The flavors were savory and balanced. I am holding back one star because I would have preferred my scone warm, and the teapot was chipped and lacking a cozy... More

My wife and her mom took my daughters here. They had a great time. The green tea was really good. They also had Russian tea cakes (excellent), raspberry muffins (very good), and brownies (good). They had a lot of fun at the Tea Room and would definitely go back. This is a great location and is really nice to walk... More

My sister and I took our mother here as a special treat; this was our first visit to Pickwick. Upon entering I immediately loved the ambiance--victorian knicknacks and photos, interesting layout. The service was outstanding and the food phenomenal! We had finger sandwiches, which were divine. But the piece de resistance was the orange scones with clotted cream--to die for!... More

My mother and I had a delightful lunch after browsing through the quilt and yarn shops in Frankfort. We were referred by the women at Top Shelf Quilts and what a great recommendation it was. We had chicken salad served in a croissant with a side of wild rice salad. The peach/ginger ice tea was so delightful that I bought... More

I've never had a bad experience here. The service is great and the teas are delicious and fun. They even have a children's tea selection which makes taking a little lady to tea a delight. Homemade quickes and muffins are yummy. I always buy something to bring home to savor later. It's not a large tea room, so I would... More

It's a woman's kind of place to gossip and laugh over a pot of specialty tea....or order different flavors of tea and sample each. I love their scones served with clotted cream and curds on the side. The quiche is consistently good and interesting. Afterward browse through the antique shops, general store, and other unique shops along the street.

Great tea shop - fun place for lunch. Food is always excellent, nice tea selection. Homemade muffins and quiche are favorites. Just be sure to call ahead as sometimes they close to the public for private events.

I went with some of my friends. We totally loved it. The food was really fresh and there was a great selection. They have over 35 different kinds of tea and it's not in bags. They brew a wonderful pot of tea. It is also a gift shop with really cute gifts and ideas for gifts. Also, there are some... More
