Dined here for the first time to celebrate a birthday. We started with appetizers which included the rabbit rillettes and salads. I didn't try the rabbit, but my dining companions thought this was delicious. The entrees we enjoyed included halibut, spicy lamb loin, and veal loin each done to perfection. I live on the north side of Chicago and often go to Evanston for dinner or a movie. My absolute favorite place to dine is Quince. It is located in The Homestead, on a residential street in Evanston. Quince is in Trio's old spot inside the Homestead Hotel. The inviting dining room, dressed in softly-colored wood panels, is as inviting and unassuming as the waitstaff. The wine list is spectacular.
