We had a group in the backroom near the patio. Our bartender was phenomenal. The food came in big servings but it was so good! I had the chicken pot pie which I will crave in the future. Highly recommend to a bite to eat or to watch a game.

Great menu, the corned beef and cabbage was excellent, ale selection awesome, and fun atmosphere for our party of 4. We each had something different and everyone enjoyed their selection. Service was prompt and courteous.

we have been staying in Evanston for a few weeks now. We have stopped in at CK for drinks, snacks and dinner -- always a pleasure. I wish there was a branch in SLC -- a place where you can always find something tempting served with warmth and great hospitality. BTW - the guinness is draft and poured properly

The Celtic Knot is one of those places that we love sharing with friends. When we have guests we often take them to the Knot for excellent pub food and other more complicated entrees. They make the best liver and onions in sherry sauce ever. The staff makes us all feel at home, much like we have found in the... More

I have eaten in the Celtic Knot numerous times, and the food has always been tasty and the atmosphere casually pleasant. The menu provides lots of choices and the mild fruit beers are good accompaniments for those who do not like grain beers (I am one of those).

The Corn Beef and Cabbage is out of this world! We have been there many times and it is a great atmosphere. The staff goes out of their way every time. It reminds of my visit to Ireland.

Hang at the bar or front booths for drinks and snacks (especially chips and curry sauce). Or enjoy a sit down meal from a large menu. Best corned beef and cabbage. Great specials too. Weekly live music and/or open mic nights. Even afternoon tea!! NYE 2013 -the whole place was rocking and dancing.

We're regulars here. Love everything on the menu - real pub grub from the old country. Great Scotch eggs, sticky toffee pudding, and fresh fish. The lamb burgers are 100% lamb (no beef). The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Try it!

What a great find. We were able to make reservations during Family Weekend for my daughters birthday. Evanston was full of people and other restaurants I had called, Giordanos, would not take reservations. I loved the comfortable atmosphere of this pub/restaurant, it reminded me of some I had visited in London. The tables are not crowded together, the wait staff... More
