My visit to Joy Yee was definitely a unique dining experience. The tables are very close together and the place is quite noisy. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu was very extensive and a bit overwhelming. We decided to play it safe with out choices and I wasn't too impressed. Spring rolls were just ok. Was a little disappointed... More

We liked the great variety of Pan-Asian offerings, Vietnam, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and and many more. Huge drink menu for a big variety of smoothies, fruit drinks, and similar drinks, "bubble" drinks, and regular drinks (two large menu pages just for the drinks). A numbered picture menu as the servers do not always understand you. The food was very good,... More

Their portions are as huge as their menu. Everything is delicious. The bubble tea is a must, as it is made with real fruit. Try the mango tapioca freeze.

This was my first time eating here. The menu was kind of overwhelming, sooo many choices. The pictures of the menu choices were very helpful in making a choice. The curry choices were the best of all (see photo). The portions were very generous. Since the temp outside was -12 F I did not feel like trying one of the... More

This place is filthy. I mean come on guys, buy a broom and use it. If the staff here are so lax to let the front of the house get this dirty, I don’t even want to think about what’s going on in the kitchen. Lest you dismiss me as some Adrian Monk clean freak. I’ll just say that I... More

My daughter took me here while I was visiting her aat college. The menu is almost overwhelming with all of the choices listed. If you can't find something you don't like Asian food. The amount you get is quite substantial. Perfect for my college kid to end up with her leftovers and mine. The colors are a bit garish and... More

Noodles, pan Asian delights and plenty of it! The food options are delicious and vast. Don't miss the fresh and fruity smoothies!

We eat here, or do takeout, fairly often. The food is always good - and the dishes are made the same way every time which isn't true at some Restaurants (different cooks). Try the Korean short ribs, pineapple fried rice, salad rolls and the wonton soup. When I'm sick, I want that soup!

I am a college student, so finding a place with delicious food for a good price is a must! This restaurant is one of my favorites and I come here all the time. Maybe too often if you ask my waistline. I highly recommend the bubble teas, especially with the "popping boba"! I always order the sesame chicken and it... More

when you walk in this gem, you have to remind yourself that you are in a small mid-west city, not asia. of course the diverse clientele and multi-clutural menu is easily explained by the fact that this is practically a Northwestern student outpost and many asians call Chicago (and Evanston) their home. Wow. Feel like vietnamese? order a fresh, basil... More
