Nice clean place. We ordered the deep fish pizza. The pizza sauce is chock full of fresh tomato pieces and the sauce is a bit on the runny side. It has a definite tomato flavor. You can't really eat this with your fingers. It was very tasty but I prefer my pizza a little more firm with a more traditional... More

We fell into Lou Malnati's completely by happenstance: a local CVS employee told us the best deep dish in the area was Lou Malnati's. She was a godsend! This place delivers extraordinary pizza, offers a quaint atmosphere and provides lovely service on the side. Definitely try Malnati's!

I showed up without a reservation and a party of nine. We were treated well and quickly. Had a huge feast, both deep dish and thin crust. No one went away hungry!

Five hungry California football fans in need of the Deep Dish experience and we were not disappointed. I am sure there is raging debate and well defined preferences amongst the locals but Malinoti's did not disappoint. The family salad was excellent and enough for five. We had two large - one Pepperoni and the other mushroom - both excellent and there... More

The pizza was great. It took about a half hour to prepare, but that is the price you pay for everything being being so freshly made. We also had a family salad that was very good. The service was excellent. This is a good place to eat in Evanston.

You want authentic classic Chicago Style Deep Dish? This is the place. Lunch is available on Fridays here just north of downtown Evanston close to the NU campus. I like the pizza on the well done side and if you are similar to me you might want to ask for that. Really excellent salad as well..... Order too much and... More

No matter what pizza you get from here, make sure to get the butter crust. You will not regret it. For God's sake, you don't eat pizza with a fork and knife, people!

My wife, son, and I were in Evanston visiting from Washington state for my daughter's graduation from college. Wednesday night is Pizza night in our family so of course we had to experience famous Chicago style pizza. We ordered two: "The Lou" a vegetarian pizza for my wife and daughter, and "The Chicago Classic" for my son and I. These... More

There were two of us so we ordered a pepperoni and a Lou's Special. Both were great and full of meat. Loved the burnt crispy crust.

Pretty crowded and had a 1/2 hour wait so we pre ordered. Well, 1/2 later after we were seated still no pizza. Beer selection is minimal and expensive. Pizza ok but not sure why so many favorable reviews. People have low opinion of food and service around here??????
