Fantastic best I had in Chi Town

This is my favorite pizza on the planet. Delicious, fresh, superb ingredients. I love the buttery crust, and the generous portions of sausage. Malnati's also features terrific salads. Once a month my girlfriend and I treat ourselves to a Malnati's deep dish pizza with sliced tomatoes, sausage, garlic, and mushrooms. Yum!

Want deep dish Chicago pizza? No doubt about it, you should come here. The pizza crust is amazing (and totally thick!) with piles of delicious cheese and tomato sauce on top. It was absolutely fabulous, as was the house salad that preceded it. Our waiter was nice and helpful, and the entire place handled our food allergies with ease (we... More

Looking forward to returning to this place soon! The service was the best we have had in quite some time. We asked to buy a beverage while waiting and they said they would add it to our bill at our table. I haven't had this happen in ages. Thanks for being so nice!! Pizza was the best deep dish I've... Two people split a Caesar salad and a medium deep dish pizza. The salad was very good and the pizza was awesome! You HAVE to get the butter crust! The restaurant was very clean and the wait staff was great. Lou’s is the only place I would ever eat deep dish pizza when I visit Chicago.

I have been enjoying deep dish pizza my entire life but this place takes the cake, or should I say pie! The difference between Lou's and everyone else is the butter crust. It really makes the difference in the taste. This pizza is a must for everyone who wants to experience what a real deep dish pizza should taste like.

I know there are many who may debate me, but this Pizza is a must have every time I come to Chicago. You need to have the time to wait for the pie but its worth every minute. Service is excellent. Two locations that I have visited. The one by merchandise mart is great if you are into sport memorabilia.... More

We stopped in at Lou's for a quick bite and ordered personal sized pies...the "Lou" and a plain thin crust plus salads. The server told us the pizzas would take about 30 minutes. Our salads came and were good - large and fresh with homemade type dressing on the side. It didn't take quite 30 minutes for our pizzas to... More

We enjoyed our visit to Lou's. We had the trio of dips and pizza chips along with a couple of deep dish pies. The kids really liked the cheese version, but my pepperoni and sausage was average. The pizza wasn't all that hot which tainted my view. I'm guessing it waited a few minutes before the server brought them out.... More

Never disappoints. I believe it's the best pizza in Chicago. Light, butter crust is not as filling as some of their competitors. Their Malnati's sald is also fantastic. For dine in or take out, Malnati's is solid all around.
